We purchased 6 chairs and received 5 in great condition. However, the 6th had a fracture along the back where the seat is placed. We asked for a replacement and left it there. It has been there for over two months and the salesman keeps telling us that he has ordered another chair but the company has not sent it and that he is not making any money off not providing us with a replacement. Today, he said we could take the chair and whenever the replacement comes in, we could exchange. I don't believe he will call and make the exchange. My husband said as much and we wanted a refund for the one chair. We were told we could not get a refund.
"If another customer ordered the same chair, how long would it take?" my husband asked. The salesman said that he still would not be able to give us an ETA. To irritate the situation even more, the salesman had an attitude as though we were asking for something above and beyond what should be expected.
This is poor business practice. This was our first time ordering, we will never order from Nationwide again. All we want is the chair we ordered in perfect condition.
