After doing some research online, it looks like Marlon McKinney has created multiple companies to run this scam through. Otherwise I'd rarely call out an individual. There's worldwide wealth builders, NWBC group, People's Finance Solution, Business Finance Suite, and possibly more. Hope this saves someone else from having to go through what I did.
A friend had introduced me to him, so I assumed I would be able to trust him. However, I was still very skeptical from his sales pitch. He wanted me to drop $5,000 into a paypal account, and it would give me access to a website I wasn't even able to see beforehand. He promised a lot of things, guaranteed my new business would raise $50,000 in business credit within 6-months, and said they would help every step of the way.
Unfortunately I still fell for it. The website was very poorly made, contained about 20 two-five minute videos, and simply promoted partner companies the entire time that they wanted you to buy from. I immediately did a charge-back for the paypal payment. He called and pulled the salesman approach - He said I should at least go through it, and if I don't get what I needed then he would give me the refund.
So I spent the 5 hours going through every video and answering all the questions they asked. Then they gave me a list of vendor accounts to apply for. I tried the ones they said i'd qualify for, and got approved for none of them! When I called to ask for help, they said I'd need to buy from all of those companies for a few months before they would approve me.
At this point I was DONE! However, not that the money had cleared, they stopped responding to any of my messages, and just told me it's my fault for not going through the site properly. They never even entertained the idea of a refund.
