NTP NTP warranty program is scam I bought truck from arrow truck sales they did fraud too as took 40,000 down payment and gave me truck which have issues all time from first week I bought costing every week something and now they don’t listen me then I bought same time 8,000 warranty through them if NTP. Truck clutch issue came up they sent me to tow truck to their contracted mechneic which I did as per. Now mechanic sent them 9200 bill and they rejected my claim . Everything was on paper written as covered but they rejected and what’s my fault I paid them they sent me or towed truck there myself then it’s their contracted shop and rejecting now. I’m broke cuz of their fraud together and truck is in shop . No work no money left . But they don’t listen even warranty is still left for 18 month . Rejected claim illegally Winsten-Salem NC

I had a Volvo VNL with a D13 in it that I bought from Arrow Truck Sales. The salesman insisted that I buy an extended warranty from National Truck Protection (which is now part of Premium 2000). It was a 1 year warranty and the salesman told me it covered everything. A year passed and i never used the warranty.

I had paid about $6,000 for it. When the warranty was close to expiring, I was contacted by a sales lady at NTP and she told me that I could buy a renewal with the same coverage for half the price. I thought it would be a good investment, considering the mileage on my truck. About a month later, I couldn't get the engine to start.

I called NTP and was rudely instructed to take my truck to a dealer. I told the person on the phone that dealers are expensive and that they would take too long to look at my truck but the person kept cutting me off, telling me that if I want them to pay for the failure, then I need to take truck to dealer. I took the truck to the dealer.

The dealer told me that I needed injectors because they weren't sealing right. I and the dealer called NTP to let them know the failure. NTP denied the claim because they claimed that the injectors failed because the injector sleeves failed and that sleeves are not covered. The dealer insisted that the injectors were the failure and that the sleeves are a part of the injectors.

Then NTP said that the sleeves are considered a part of the cylinder head and that the cylinder head is not covered on this warranty renewal. So after paying $6,000 for a warranty and then $3000 more for a renewal, I was stuck with a $5,000 repair bill. And when I asked for a refund for my renewal, I was told by another lady that there are no refunds.

I felt so robbed and so disappointed in myself for allowing myself to be scammed. In all, I lost $14,000 because of this company.
