My wife ,who is disabled, started recieving multiple magazines in the mail she did not order. It turns out That National Publishers Exchange in largo fl has set an web trap and if your not careful then they sign you up for multiple magazines. Then when you refuse the bill they turn it over to a collection agency to extort money. My wife has MS and fhas been scamed by these people. If you reed this Pass it on to other people so they are not taken advantage of.
I was contacted by phone and the caller said they were raising money for some cause (I don't remember what). I was about to renew my subscription for TV Guide. So I went ahead and agreed to 2 magazines to help this cause. They were TV Guide and Cookbook Digest.
I gave my debit information, and was told I would receive my magazines within 2-5 weeks. I have never gotten one! I called their cist. service number and was told there had been a typo on my address, and that my magazines had been returned. He supposedly corrected my address and "put a rush" on my subscriptions. I never received either-cannot reach anybody on either cust. service #. But they took my $69.38 in Nov. 2015 !! How do these people get away with this. They may be calling tens of thousands of people and doing the same thing. It is just so wrong !!
February 2016 i got a phone call from national publishing xchange offering me 2 magazines for the low rate of $1.30 a week for 24 months of service. It sounded good. In february 2 payments and 1 payment in march 2016 were billed to my credit card, each charge was $49+. As of 6/12/16 i have not received my magazines. I called them last week and was told that someone would return my call with 48 hours. It has been more than that.

I began getting GQ magazine out of nowhere. When getting absolutely no help from NPE I called GQ directly.
They did have a subscription matching the magazine label. I called NPE again, they just couldn't find it!
The number I was given for NPE was 1-888-559-6577. I got right through. Now to check the credit card!
What a scam. They send out magazine subscriptions, then can't tell you why or find an account matching the label.
Hopefully, someone else can get through with this number to NPE.
