I placed an order for custom pens. When I received the pens, they were wrong. I called and emailed. I was told that I had 24 hours after ordering to cancel the order if the pens were wrong. I responded that there was no way I could know the order was wrong until I received the pens, 14 days after ordering. I was told that I was sent a confirmation email with a proof that I could check. I received no such email.
I asked to return the pens, citing their satisfaction guarantee. They refused. I have been going back and forth with them for nearly 4 months to get some sort of resolution. The pens are wrong, I want to send them back or get a significantly reduced (cost) invoice then I can donate the pens to a local school district. National Pen will not budge on their stance.
I have been told by two different sales reps who reached out to see if I needed more pens that I should not order online as they do not honor the guarantee for orders placed online.
I will NEVER order from National Pen again and suggest others strongly consider other options.
I will NEVER EVER use this company again! You think that you are getting free shipping, but they will charge you a "service fee" in which they will charge you at least 25.00. If you by chance miss that small fine print when you make your order, then they will charge a "late charge fee". This late charge fee happens without notice, long after you have supposedly paid "in full" for your pens. They contact you by phone, and tell you that you owe them money for a "service fee" that you did not include in your order. After contacting them about this "service fee", I sent them off a check because I just wanted to put it all behind me and be done with it. I just got another "bill" from them, stating that they are now charging me a "late charge" of 25.00 because they didn't receive my payment. I sent the disputed monies off last week, and now they want to charge a 25.00 late fee for something I never knew that I owed in the first place. I thought doing a service for a fee involved paying for the product and shipping and handling. This company has been horrible! I regret ordering any products from them ever! Watch out if you happen to receive a complimetary or "free" item from them, they may decide to charge you for 30 days of handling it! Send your product back, or go to another company that actually cares about providing customer service to a customer. Our business is happy to pay for products and services that we use, however, using deceptive and misleading ways of tricking the public to buy one's products is not a way that I want to do business with anybody. I wish that I would have read the reviews on this company BEFORE ordering their products. Please take heed and read reviews from other customers who are claiming the same thing (BBB, google reviews, etc).
