I hired NAPA to do research on my son's case and find all appellate issues. After paying them 2950 they wanted 15000. They only looked at issues already appealed and therefore found no issues. NLPA told us to find another issue. I thought that's what we paid them to do... They sent us a fancy letter telling us what we already knew. I paid an inmates to write up my son's motions and have gotten further. They are a total rip off and Mr Robinson plays on God and your sympathy. We all want to help our loved ones but these people are taking advantage of us and should be stopped. If money isn't an issue go to someone real not someone who can't practice law....

if you want to see accurate truthful reviews contact the BBB which has given NLPA an A+ rating

No one at NLPA ever told a defendant that they needed to come up with new evidence on their own. NLPA always offers to provide investigators and forensic experts to assist with this important task

NLPA has a+ rating with the BBB . They have been involved in 500+ successful cases

For more than 30 years NLPA's lawyers (who are licensed to practice law) Have assisted defendant's counsel in more than 500 successful cases . In 2018 alone the research provided by NLPA's lawyers assisted defendants save more than 500 years in prison and overturned 4 life sentences. All of this can be documented by NLPA.. No one can win every case. Sometimes some families whose case is not successful resort ti websites like Scamion .com to post untrue inaccurate info to vent their frustrations. It should be noted that these folks don't bother to come out of the shadows and say who they are.

NLPA is a service that markets directly to criminal defendants in the jails. Its founder and president, Hugh Wesley Robinson, is a former attorney permanently disbarred by the Ohio Supreme Court following his conviction for mail fraud. He is not licensed in any other jurisdict. Misrepresentation of legal services and refusal to refund us our money back.

We hired the National Legal Professional Associates for a legal criminal case for my brother under the assumption that they are legal Attorneys according to lead person Mr. Wes Robinson when in fact they are legally not lawyers but scam artists. After the last payment of $8,000.00 they charged us we in fact realized they were not legal or licensed attorneys. After we notified them of what we found out about them, their scams they confessed they weren't legally lawyers and referred us to what we thought was a legal and licensed lawyer Mr. Vincent Oliver in Los Angeles, Ca. He requested $6,000 additional for his services. We paid him in full and after doing absolutely nothing on the case, held the money for 2yrs he refunded us our money immediately upon our request. We have contacted Mr. Wes Robinson numerous times in regards to our refund of money due to the fact he has done nothing on the case either, hasn't given us copies of anything upon our request. He isn't an legal attorney and he stated he would no longer talk to us unless we hired an attorney to talk to him. He's fully aware we can't fly to Florida to his office to talk to him but hides behind the telephone. We have attempted many numerous times to contact him by telephone, email, voicemail messages and he refuses to answer us. We have many many attempts in different ways to communicate to him and he always fails to respond. He is practicing illegally acting as if he's legally a licensed attorney and robbing people of their money. We have asked for a refund of our money and he refuses and has extorted, robbed us of $8,000.00 We also found that Mr. Wes Robinson's name that he has his jail house solicitors using isn't true or real. His real and true name is Mr. Hugh Wesley Robinson.

The U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed in a federal district court's sanctions against National Legal Professional Associates (NLPA) and its leader for unauthorized practice of law. NLPA is a paralegal service that markets directly to criminal defendants. Its founder and president, Hugh Wesley Robinson, is a former attorney permanently disbarred by the Ohio Supreme Court following his conviction for mail fraud. He is not licensed in any other jurisdiction to practice law.

These ppl were referred to me off a flyer my brother saw while he was incarcerated. I needed them to help with a case evaluation in hopes of getting the appeal process going. I was told they could help. I only received newsletters in reference to the rapper lol boosie from Cincinnati which they had gotten off from a murder case.

So I assumed they were legit and good after hearing he was home. They collected $2500.00 from me. They were in contact with my brother but then all contact ceased. Then we received a letter saying I needed to come up with new evidence on my own. Then all communication just stopped. These people just ripped me off.

They didn't get far

They sounded so sincere about helping my brother but my sister said to call the attorney I am looking to hire. He said they were probably a scam and he had never heard of them. And he would never use their info because they are not attorneys. So glad I listened. They didn't get a chance to rip us off

Learning

After reading this review, I feel I have to learn more about this company before I invest money. I may need to see a lot of positive reviews which I don't currently see. Thank God for reviews.

I contacted this company with the hopes of getting my son out of jail early due to Covid 19, and his diagnosis of Asthma and high blood pressure, Mr. Wes Robinson played on those hopes, and told me they would prepare all the paper work for me and file the motion. all I had to do was send the the intial down payment of 1000 and I could make payment arrangements on the rest of the money which was 1500 dollars.

Mr Wes Robinson never sent any paper work to the prison except for a HIPPA release form for my son to sign and the receipt for the inital 1000 down payment, we on the other hand kept getting letters to send more money. My son had to pay for medical forms to be sent to me and I in return sent them to National legal Professional Associates (NLPA) we were instructed to prepare a release plan for my son get discovery packet with any health information. NLPA and Wes Robinson did nothing, and when I phoned the company, I was informed that Sue Kroger was our case manger, we spoke with her and she informed us that that Wes Robinson was our case manager.

We phoned Wes Robinson he was very happy to state several paragraphs for me to read and I cleary signed the agreement stating that they never said they would file a motion for my son, and that his original lawyer would do it. then we were informed they will find us another lawyer for 1500 dollars, if my son does not want his original lawyer.

Then M. Wes Robinson got upset because I stated I wanted a refund becuse they have not provided us with no services and Mr Robinson was very rude and again instructed me to read paragrah 7 and made statements of "I hope and pray your son dosen't die in jail. Mr Robinson uses GOD for sympanty, and this Covid 19 pandemic to play on peoples emotions and hopes to con people out of money.

The NLPA is a scam

I called them for my husband who's in prison, and looking for some legal help. When we contacted them a spoke about hiring them, Mr. Wes Robinson just calling and pressing us about sending the money, we had gotten a little suspicious because of his anxiousness. However we sent them $2,450 within 45 days they sent us a 24 page print out, that had nothing to do with the case. I expressed to Mr. Robinson my disappointment, and told him to forward a copy to my attorney, my said it's a bunch of nonsense. When we ask for the funds back Mr. Robinson got irritated. Something has be done to put a stop to this man.

This is a SCAM of the worst degrees

Mr. Wes Robinson needs to grow up and get a real job.. He takes you for the money - claiming he is your "case manager' and he rips you off with his lies.. I paid them their fees totaling 15000 and got nothing in return. Please do not make this mistake.. He says he has a Great rating with the BBB .. any liar can do that..
