In late 2015 I responded to an internet offer from the National Gun Owners Association to get free pistol targets. All I had to do was pay the shipping. While completing the necessary information, I accidently clicked on the wrong button and ordered a Tekut Ares' Son tactical knife. I immediately emailed their support email address and asked if the order could be stopped. I got no response.
Since it was my mistake I decided to wait until the item arrived to attempt to return it for a refund (NOTE: the item was drastically overpriced and sells for much less on other websites). It took two months and two additional emails to actually get the item. I then sent two emails approximately six weeks apart asking about returning the item. Again, no response.
I should point out that I never got a reply to any of my emails.
I have had no luck in finding a URL for this "organization." Actually, except for complaints, I find nothing on the internet about this company.
If you choose to do business with this company you should expect three things. First, expect to wait an unreasonable amount of time before you receive your item.
Second, expect to be ignored if you email them.
Third, expect to pay too much for the item (the one exception being the free targets which did have a resonable charge for shipping).
I purchased a couple of minor items from NGOA. Targets which after several calls & forever finally came & some WOLF gun oil.
I did the option to purchase the second ounce of Wolf Oil. Little did I know that when ordering the two ounce option you put yourslef into some kind of monthly agreement at $38.60 PER MONTH!
Small enough for a consumer not to catch unless they carefully review their monthly statement! I had reason to carefully look for something else & that's when I caught the three monthly charges of $38.60.
I spoke with Emily first & then Bob Thomas the manager this morning & all he will refund is the last of the three months they have charged me. So, I'm out $77.20! It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't 64, on a fixed income, poor eyesite & disabled; all of which I explained to Bob! Bob stated, "The information about the monthly charge if not canceled was right there!"
I said to Bob, you mean you would rather loose a customer than keep a customer over $77.20. He responded with, "All I can offer you is one month @ $38.60. I asked to talk with the general manager & Bob said that would be the owner & he doesn't take calls!
These heartless jerks would rather keep the $77.20 from someone, loose a customer & get slammed on the internet, than provide a customer a positive experience with their company.
Interner order from email. I ordered some targets and a scope. Never received an email confirmation, I tried the online chat for 2 days with no results. Finally I looked up me American express card as see that they charged $78+ to it. No problem as Amex had their bank 800 number. Called thir bank and was told that they only have the dollar amount and had no way to contact the seller! Finally, the online chat worked and first there was no record of my order. Then there was! I asked for a email confirmation which took a long time to get. I reminded them that Amex is aware of the situation and I was no longer worried. Then I received the canceled order. Now I get 2 or 3 emails a day trying to sell me more, that is after I asked them not to. I finally I put them on my spam alert block them!! They were right about one thing, that I was born at night, just not last night!
On Facebook offer was for targets for $1.00. When ordered gave you another offer of $4.95 for more targets, free shipping. I ordered the $1.00 and the $4.95 targets. Received the targets and thought that was the end of my dealings with them. In March noticed they were charging my credit card for $38.60 a month plus I was being charged International TXN Fee. Tried to call their 877 # for two days to inquire as to why they were charging my credit card. I assume it's for some type of membership dues. They will not answer your call. Left my call back number for two days, They do not return your call back memo.
I ordered my flashlight from an email sent to me unsolicited. It sounded like a good deal. I ordered one in mid Dec. I had trouble with the program and had trouble trying to order a charger. My flashlight came the third week of January. There is no charger and the light is dead, will not burn. I have no phone number for the company, so I am not able to reach customer service. I had planned to order two more lights with D/C and A/C chargers. Don't know if that will happen or not.
