National Driver Training Reviews

  • Feb 3, 2018

They charge you $50 to drive around a crusty neighborhood for 10 minutes and instead of using the local driving laws as parameters they use "personal preference"... not one example given after the test was "an illegal act" or something dictated in the driving manual. Ex: Said driving 25 in a 30 was marked because you are expected to drive the speed limit...No you aren't... you can't EXCEED the speed limit but there is not a speed MINIMUM unless otherwise posted.

Said it "took too long to accelerate up to speed limit" and that was marked... yet there is no law for how quickly you have to achieve your speed so how was this marked as "fail"? While turning "got close to the curb but didn't hit it" marked off anyways even though no law was broken and he even admitted the car never touched it..."just got too close"- Even yelled at my daughter while parking after the test to "not touch the accelerator"... which was unnecessary.

The staff was extremely rude and sarcastic, instead of answering a question they would actually get irritated and chastise you for "not following instructions" or listening to their instructions yet we did... she said "take the keys, start the vehicle and he will be out in a moment" There were two vehicles and my daughter asked "which one?" I nicely asked the lady behind the counter "ma'am, which one?" and instead of just saying "the white one" or "the blue one" she got very irritated and in front of others said "i just told her, hit the button and the lights will flash!" well, she DIDN'T actually say that to us... so I said "ma'am it was just a question" to which she replied while rolling her eyes "and I've already told her but YOU were talking and she couldn't hear me"... we hadn't been talking, I just said "good luck"...

this place is terrible, they are nasty and rip you off with bs rules and expectations- Avoid at ALL COST.
