National Boat Cover

I ordered my boat cover off their website which listed my exact make and model. Arrived in about two weeks, which was fine. The quality of the cut and seams looked good. Fit was quite far off though. Also the included engine cover/storage bag would fit a huge outboard, though I have a little 14' open alum. fishing boat with a 15 hp engine.

I returned the cover and they covered the return shipping costs. They received the cover back on 8/15 but my refund wasn't issued until 9/13 (this was after multiple e-mails asking what the hold-up was).

I cannot recommend this company. The two stars instead of one is because they covered the return shipping and I did ultimately get my refund after a month.

I purchesed a 28 foot boat cover from National Boat Cover/Eevelle Jan 27 2015. I used the cover on my boat in Florida for 7 months in 2015 and 7 months in 2016. I had used it 4 months this year when we were pulling the cover on over a pvc rack I had made so it would pull on without hanging up.

The part of the cover that would be over the very top started to rip and ripped so easily we didn't know it was ripping since it was over head. It had a 12 foot rip before we knew what was happening from the front middlle toward the back where the sun exposure is worse.

I pulled the cover off and spread it out accross the driveway to see if I could attempt to sew it. As I picked it up to line up the torn ends, the middle part kept ripping when i would pull on it. I soon discovered that the top 10x20 foot section where sun exposure is the worst was so degraded I could rip it with my fingers like paper.

This cover is quite large so knowing it was not repairable i disposed of it in fl where i keep the boat rather than trying to haul it back to my home state.This cover has never been on a trailored boat so it degraded by just being on the boat in 2 and 1/2 summers.

I got my proof of purchase together and contatced Eevelle. They statred asking for alot of ridiculous pictures of the rip like they would be able to tell anything about a rip and would not honor my warranty because i could not furnish them the rip Photos.

I have read other reviews about this company and see that these photos seem to only be a ploy to disavow the warranty.I am convinced that the product they sold me is an inferior, defective product that would not have even lasted as long as it did if I had not been so careful with it..

The young lady with Eevelle i talked to was very nice and seemed to want to help but her hands were tied and even her supv had no latitude to deviate from this anti customer policy.

I wish they had tried to work with me in some manner on this issue with their product but they didn't so now i am telling everybody I can about the company and the product they sold me so others won't fall prey to the same thing and I am about to buy a cover from someone else.

The customer service return policy is dreadful. I worked with their sales representative Anthony. I sent him pictures and measurements of my boat. The cover I received was way too big for my boat. I had to pay all the return shipping cost. Then after my return was "approved" they would not refund my shipping cost for an exchange. I requested a refund instead. What if the second one did not fit; I would have to pay for that return also. I am out $50.00 with no cover. They have no useful guarantee, since it only cost the customer if they screw up.

Absolutely RIPPED OFF

Do not do business with this company. They screwed up my delivery but I understood and did not complain was just happy to get the boat cover for my husband's Christmas present, of course, it arrived a week late. He took the cover to the boat last weekend and it is not even close to fitting our boat. The wake tower's dimensions are not within the cover's cutout holes. I thought, not a problem, get a refund or better, an exchange. Well---can't get anything but SORRY, you missed the window. I am beyond livid, over $500 down the drain and not even a hint of helpfulness. I also went with the GUARANTEE FIT line on the website. I will also get with the BBB, agree with the above, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. Also, which I thought was so funny, on the e-mail I received that said sorry, it provided a link to share feedback with a manager. It didn't work! Go figure...SMH.

Ordered a boat cover from Anthony at National Boat Covers. I told him my boat type and size. I told him to order a specific V Hull Center Console cover in black for an 18' Robalo boat with a 96" beam with low or no bow rails. The email verification of the sale showed ANTHONY ordered a different boat and it was a BAY boat. Windstorm Semi Custom Boat Cover For BAY BOAT - Rounded Bow, Center Console, Low or No Bow Rails. This is NOT what I ordered. I have tried to cancel with Anthony and he has insulted me and hung up on me. He sees my phone number and picks up and puts the calls on hold again. Anthony is the ONLY person working at this place it seems. BEWARE! do not order from this place. He is rude, can't follow directions and it will cost you big time.

I am now getting in touch with the Better Business Bureau because on their site they say they are BBB accredited yet you can not find them or their parent company on the BBB. I am not going to let this go. This kind of rip off is not right. BEWARE. Don't fall for these lies
