In October 2014 I set up an account (including an online vehicle profile) and paid for the service of advertising and selling my vehicle with National Auto Market (www.nationalautomarket.com). I was promised that in the current market, and with the interest for the type of vehicle I had, a sale wouldn't take long.
After a couple weeks I followed up on progress, and was told that they were in discussion with an interested buyer. I followed up again a couple weeks later, and was told a slightly different story. This patterned happened for about a half year, where I was never contacted so every 2-6 weeks I would follow up, and was told something like my vehicle was opened up to new agents, or that with spring promotions the sale of my vehicle was guaranteed, or that offers were pending. Then I noticed that I could no longer reach anyone via their contact number (although at times I got called back after calling). Then I could only get a hold of them via email.
After spending several months of following up and seeing no progress or action from National Auto Market, I decided to see what would happen if I stopped contacting the company every couple of months. It is now May 2016, and I have not been contacted by National Auto Market at all, regarding anything. No even a single progress update. I sent an email recently requesting a refund as no service was provided, but no response was received.
All evidence points to the conclusion that National Auto Market took my money and didn't do anything.
