I looked at my bank statement today to find a charge for $45 for a OFFICIAL NASCAR MEM. I am presuming that this is the Official NASCAR Members Club. I did not sign up for this. I did buy a travel mug for my sister a from a special offer email they sent, but I certainly did not and would not purchase a club membership.
I don't even watch NASCAR anymore. I'm fairly certain the membership was part of some fine print for some little checkbox hidden at the bottom of the order page. I certainly won't be buying *anything* from NASCAR.com ever again.
Be warned that a purchase from NASCAR may end up slamming you into agreements you weren't aware of.
