I tried to place an order with this company, to be shipped after a date so that it would be available for me to collect from the destination and was subjected to an amazing amount of sceptism about a credit card. Scott was assured that he could ship long after the card payment had gone though. I offerred additional ID and the name of a local reference, but he INSISTED on a Money Order. US money orders are impossible fromwhere I live, so I offered a bank transfer from a US bank, all to no avail.
I can only assume that he does not have the stock, (despite what his website indicates) or cannot get it from his suppliers and finds it more convient to blame the customer for a non acceptable card. He then has the cash and I have NO WAY of ensuring that he will send the goods. Why should I trust him, particularly when I feel that I was so badly treated as a customer. I have no guarantee that he will send the goods, and having seen other posts about him and this company I feel justified in helping the rest of the N Scale community know more about. Scott left me with the motivation to find other suppliers and not look back, but suggest that if you are thinking of doing business with them, make sure that you get your items as ordered if he already has your money.
