I tried to redeem my points for a gift card but their system keeps sending me to a webpage that says: "Account Verification is Required". It now requires me to submit a cell phone to receive a code to verify. I don't have a cell phone, so how can I verify my account. Also, I already verified my account a few years back.
I found out that if I click on "Send Code", sends to a page that gives me the option to have the code mailed to me. When I chose that mail the code option, I get sent to a page with the following address:
Kim Smith
44 Montgomery St. Ste 250
San Francisco, CA 94105
This address is to someone that works at MyPoints in San Francisco. Is a worker in MyPoints trying to scam people out of their points? It sure seems like it because the address can't be edited and it sends you back to the "Account Verification is Required" page. I found out that other people online were having the same problem. So, I tried contacting their customer service for help but the response I got was a generic one. The rep said that they're aware of situation and everyone has to verify their account unless you were verified in the past.
MyPoints.com do not respect their customers becaue they lie to us. Promise gift cards and other rewards but never get them. I finally earned $5 and they deactivated my account for no reason and I never got the gift card.
They are a scam and only want you to submit surveys so they make money. I worked very hard on the surveys and was truthful and gave good advice with great details. This company should be shut down for robbing customers. Shame on them!
