I have done business with myhertiage and order dna kit for my mother, the results never came in and raw data. Also sent several email messages to myhertiage and they stated for me to pay them money to answer my questions.
This company are scammers and they stolen my mother dna results and raw data. They charged my credit card for dna kit, when never received my results of my mother dna also couldnt downloaded the raw data. Bad customer service and rip off.
This company claims to be a geneology company that will test your DNA to find your heritage, but the results are blatantly fake to the point where my entire family is from Germany and yet I, according to them, have 0% German in my blood. This is on top of the fact that it takes 4 months for them to "process" your DNA, even though the results they provide you are blatantly made up.
This company is making a FORTUNE off of the elderly and they don't have to lift a finger to make that money, all they do is send out small plastic vials for your saliva that I'm nearly certain get disposed of when they are returned before they generate your completely bogus DNA results.
It will only take one person taking them to court and getting a real DNA test to prove that theirs are fake, but unfortunately I don't have the money to be that person. MyHeritage.com is a 100% scam through and through, preying on people over 40.

This organization charges money to SELL personal and private information that it buys from other scam outfits. I found myself on their site and made 4 requests to remove this data and they still have not done so. Scam companies buy information from organizations like this. They are all feeding each other and this is why vulnerable Americans are being ripped off every day or harassed with phone calls from India because of these outfits. They are a scourge on our safety and privacy.
I had my DNA tested before in Europe, since I am from Germany.
Born and raised. The EU test showed 69% German, 25% Eastern European and around 5% French.
So, we got my wife's DNA tested at MyHeritage and since they had a special offer, mine tested with hers again.
Guess what I am now. 51% British/Irish, 30% Eastern European, 16% Balkan and some Asian.
What a crap. I don't know what DNA their lab tested but it wasn't mine. Now, we cannot trust my wife's DNA test either. We know she also has some German ancestors. But not a single German DNA in her either, according to MyHeritage.
Completely unprofessional. That's why they are cheaper than the others because they just fake test your DNA.
Plus their customer service is so busy, you hang in line for an hour. I wonder why . . . ?
On feb.23, i ordered a dna kit from my heritage, the money was withdrawn from my back account 92.79cents. i still haven't received my kit. i've talked to them and they said i have to prove i ordered the kit. they withdrew the money from my account isn't that enough proof?
I sent for a DNA test for ancestry to myheritage.com;;;not this is not ancestry.com. Started process December 31, 2016. When we received kit, turned it around the next day. Results were promised in 4-6 weeks. Here it is April 1, 2017 and still no results. I have called twice and once waiting on hold for 1 hour, my call was dropped. The next time I was assured there was nothing wrong with kit process and she would forward to DNA department. That was 5 days ago. I have emailed at least 10 times. They are always quick with a computerized response, polite and sympathic. Nothing more happens. Please don't waste your money.
I purchased one year's membership of this site in March 2016. Today, a year later, I received an email from the company informing me they were taking £90 from my bank account to renew my subscription. No prior warning was given of this, and I find this unethical. When I spoke to a customer service billing representative (located in believe, in Israel), I was told he couldn't help me with a refund and that someone would have to call me back in 3-4 days' time. Why it takes that long, I have no idea. The company has also ignored all emails sent to them. Let this be a warning to anyone paying for a so-called one year membership. Use a credit card or PayPal and NOT a debit card. I've had to cancel mine as I can't trust MyHeritage not to take more money from me without consent.
I signed up for their 14 day trial and before 2 days was done I had supposedly used too much space and could not put a small amount of my tree on their site with out them wanting me to upgrade from 75.00 for the trial plus another 135.00 for more space. I think that is crazy so I sent a message to cancel my subscription. Well 14 days go by and I get charged the 75 and I sent another message to them to cancel my subscription and they could keep a months worth. Well still no response and after sending four more request to cancel and delete my information, I still get no response. I tried deleting my information myself and they will not let me.
I am at my wits end to end this thing with them. They keep sending "matches for my tree" and cannot even add their matches to my tree without getting their upgrade site want another 135.00 after I just got robbed of 75.00 from them. I have a big family tree going back to Queen and Kings of England and they will not let me put in enough places for even get out of Jamestown, Va., which is just a few generations. I have traced almost my entire tree back to the 1100's on ancestry and have never had a request for more money for space. I have only 1200 people on my tree and is small compared to many on the site. On myheritage the site will only allow about 150 people for the 75.00 yearly fee.
I was encouraged by my family members to search for my biological father to get medical records from that side of my biology in order to complete health history for myself and my daughter. I accepted the invitation and thought I was paying only $14.99 or something like that (since my visit toi the website to join was only $9.95 tonight!). I can guarantee you I did not agree to pay more than $15.
I received so many "junk mail" type things from them, I started sending them to my filing system to look at later, when I had nothing better to do.
Apparently this is a marketing tactic for them, cause only after viewing a $175.77 charge from them on my credit card, I began to open the emails I had filed....
Sure enough! There was a notice they had charged my credit card! They sent miscellaneous, worthless emails to muddy the waters and put my guard down! It is a marketing tactic that is unforgivable! They are as low as hackers, as thieves of any kind!
I have begun the dispute process, but based on things I have found on the web, wish me Godspeed, please!
I cancelled my subscription with this company, so they started calling me at 4AM, and 7AM. I blocked their number on my iphone and emailed customer service to complain. Since then, every night my phone is ringing at 3:30 AM with an unknown number. I have gotten no responses from my written complaints to them.
I joined myheritage.com in May 2016. I purchased the premiumplus plan and paid for a year subscription. I inputted a lot of family information on the site, used their matching service to add a lot more, and had a nice family tree going all the way back to the late 17th century. I logged on tonight only to find all that information was gone with no obvious way to retrieve it. It took a lot of work to get all that information, only to have it all disappear with no warning. I do not have the time to re-add all the information, and should not have to. The site does not do what it advertises, and does not retain your family tree information. Unless you enjoy doing a lot of work for nothing, avoid this service.
on the 24th of april 2016 looked into my bank account, noticed $74.99 been taken out of my bank account without my knowledge.do not know company or what are they dealing in?
how can i get back my money or is there any other way to resolve ths problem
I've been trying to get a refund for 2 weeks already and have only been given the run around by their support. I e-mailed them as well as opened a ticket on their site and after 2 long weeks of waiting here's the only thing I got from them:
"Dear Mr. Arruda,
Thank you for contacting us, I will be happy to assist you.
One of our representative will contact you soon.
Thank you for your patience.

I checked my account and it has two charges on it that i didn't authorize and it was my heritage ltd and when i call them a per recorded message say it is have technical difficults and try back again later. I was taken for three dollars. I don't know who they are. Melissa Mechanicsville Iowa.
