My Worlds Smartest eCard Reviews
If you’re a freelancer, it’s important to protect yourself from untrustworthy clients which is why I always recommend having a signed contract, but sometimes, even a signed contract isn’t enough to keep people from taking advantage of your time and effort and stealing your money.
After being a freelancer for nearly 9 years, I have met my fair share of people who expect the world, but don’t want to pay for it. I have worked for people who write checks that I can’t cash and I have worked for people who, after several months of using the products and services rendered for them, decide they want their money back and claim a fraudulent chargeback, stating that the services were not rendered.
The practice of filing fraudulent chargebacks is common and if you provided services and receive a chargeback notice, it is considered

I want to inform you about a man name Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” and his “company” calling themselves “Dream Team Freedom“. They want you to use their product called “My Worlds Smartest eCard“.
The owner of My World’s Smartest eCard, Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” is trying to steal my time, money, and services. His email address is [email protected] and his phone number is 954-448-5951. Here is a link to a bio. whosatthetable.com/e-card.html – Here is a link to his LinkedIn page. I was hired by Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” in December of 2016 to provide technical support services and website repairs for a broken website that had been built by another web designer and then transferred from one hosting server to another. The website transfer was done improperly and the website was damaged in the process.
Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” and I signed a contract stating that I would repair the website within a 3 week time frame with half the payment due up front and the second half due upon project completion. After I got the website back online and provided well over 60 hours of support and service, I was paid for my time and I did not hear from Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” regarding that particular website again until he decided he wanted his money back… 5 months later.
When Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” came to me, his website did not work at all. The CSS would not load, the links were broken, and there were many other issues that needed to be sorted out. He complained of having to pay a lot of money to the previous designer, which should have been my sign to run right there. He explained why he needed a new designer and what work he needed done. I drew up a contract and we both signed it.
I repaired the website on the second week and was paid the final payment that same day, December 28, 2016. Yesterday, April 28 2017, I received an eMail from Square credit card processing stating that Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” had requested a chargeback on the basis that the product or service was not rendered or rendered improperly. Again, this is 5 months after I began working with him.
I worked day and night for 2 weeks straight, including Christmas Day, to sort out the problems with his website at My World’s Smartest eCard. He called me every single day and we talked on the phone for hours upon hours. I had a 4 hour long face to face meeting with him and his wife and I also spent numerous days on the phone with his old web designer and web hosting company getting everything he needed completely sorted out so he could have total ownership of his website.
After I completed the website repairs on My Worlds Smartest eCard, Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray”, requested work to be done on another website he owns. I began to perform the work and when I sent him an invoice for my time he refused to pay the invoice and also refuses to return any phone calls or respond to emails about the money he currently owes me for my time.
The reason I am writing this is because I am tired of people hiring freelancers for work and then trying to get the product, service, and time for free. Every freelancer deserves to be paid for their work and no one is entitled a freelancer’s time, energy, effort, input, etc. My goal is not to harm Raymond Martineau’s reputation, he is doing that all on his own. My goal is to make sure that anyone who decides to do work for him will understand what they are getting themselves into.
I am planning on taking Raymond Martineau a.k.a “Sensei Ray” to court over the matter as I feel he has not only stolen from me, but he is also using my work and still owes money from other work I did for him on another website he owns.
