My Dr's nurse handedme the phone number for this organization when I couldn't afford the co-pay for my insulins. I called when I got home and it has been more that 6 months of phone calls, payin $189.95 that a borrowed from a friend, constantly jumping through the companies many hoops (never enough) and promises and requirements that they were shipping right out and if I stayed home, I would need to sign for the refrigerated shipment. Day after day brought nothing, waiting for this delivery mind you out of insulin (2) three months ago. Type II Diabetes does not go away by not taking your medications. The first Dr dropped me because I wasn't following her instructions! Friday last, I ended up with life threatening, body crushing blood glucose numbers. Now it's serious and my new Doctor, the hospital staff and I are not getting answers or shipment date/time. No insulin, no $189.95. Still life threatening blood glucose numbers, no answers!

I called 3 times and got the same result. Contacted Jduffy @ myadvocateforhealth.com like she told me to do over the phone to cancel the automatic charge to my account. They charged me again. Haven't got anything through them in 3 months. She told me I would have to send an email to jduffy and she would stop it I'm still being charged. HELP
I cancelled my plan with My Advocate for Health because I realized that my clinic could fill out the applications for me for free, whereas My Advocate for Health charges a monthly fee of $59. They continued to charge me and I then started to receive overdraft fees, which My Advocate for Health refused to reimburse. The supervisor, Clark, was screaming over the phone telling me to be grateful for what I got and then hung up on me. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE.
I was searching the internet looking for medication assistance programs to receive help paying for my medication. I have public aid medical insurance until mid December. My insurance through my employer comes after 90 days. My current medical insurance will not cover my medication and it costs $794.89. I looked up "My advocate for health" and called the phone number (877-574-3421) and spoke with an employee named Joe. He explained to me that I qualified for the medication to be free. He said the membership to start was $139.95 and then $74.00 a month after that. I gave him my debit card number but advised Joe that I did not get paid til Friday 10/02. He said that was fine he would post date the charge on my debit til then. He then gave me a member I'd # and a phone number to my personal advocate (877-525-1385). After I got off the phone with Joe I called the number and a recording came stating that this was a non- working number. I then tried the number I first called and has been busy ever since. Well Joe your out of luck because the card I gave him was a pre-paid card so I called Walmart and cancelled the card and got a new one. SO no money for you Joe. YOU CLOWN!!!!! I wanted to put that out there so maybe this will help some older man or women from getting scamed.
