On 9/22/2019 I've purchased supplements on Muscle & Strength's website, shipping it internationally under the Order #600124230. The payment was done in local currency (BRL), as it is stated on the order summary, totaling "R$988.42".
After the package arrived at local customs on October 10th, it stayed there for almost two months, when the package was denied and sent back to the origin.
On January 2nd I've entered in contact with the M&S website support and chatted with Cole, requiring the reimbursement since the package had already returned. Cole promptly continued the proceedings for refund thru my PayPal account, since the payment was made in cash by a bank slip.
After sending him my account info, a BRL618.36 deposit value was made by "Muscle and Strength, LLC", BRL370.06 lower than the order total payment.
When questioned, Cole informed that the Shipping value is not refundable. First issue here: So why does the website stated "100% Money Back Guarantee" within their details under "WE SHIP TO BRAZIL"?!
After comparing the Order Subtotal vs. the refunded amount, there was a difference of BRL130.38. When questioned about this difference, Cole informed that he asked for the full Order Subtotal reimbursement and that it shouldn't have this difference. However, his boss had already left the premises and he suggested to enter in contact on the next week.
On January 7th I returned to the customer support on the website and chatted with Joey. After explaining what happened, Joey mentioned that the refund was made in USD and that the difference was due to the exchange rate. However, my purchase was not in USD and the value was always shown in BRL, even at the receipt, the order summary and the confirmation e-mail received.
If the value charged and my payment were in BRL, I demand refund in the total BRL amount. Which is an additional refund of BRL370.06, being the difference from the refund received and the Order Total amount of BRL988.42, since the website states "100% Money Back Guarantee".
