I went to this doctor based on a Groupon ad for an injection called sculptra. The ad states that you can receive a non surgical butt lift for $350. I was interested in the procedure for I called Dr. Mirza and he affirmed that he would give me the desired look and I need to just come in asap. I stopped by his cedar grove office which is one of about 26 locations which he rents on an hourly basis. None of these offices are really his. They belong to other doctors but he uses them when those doctors are not in. When I got to my appointment he told me that 1 syring would not be enough and that I needed 4, although over the phone he said 1 would make a difference. While I was in his office he pulled out 4 syringes but they were extra small in size. I've received injections before from other doctors and have never seen these baby syringes. None of them were sealed. He simply u screwed the top and began sticking me. He did not use any numbing medication like other doctors. Sad to say, the next morning I woke up with black and blue marks all over my buttocks where he injected restylane (not even the sculptra he had advertised). I also was left with lumps in my skin. I called him and he said it was normal and should go away. Well the lumps did not go away and the black and blue took 3 weeks. What's even worse is that I did not notice any difference at all. I asked him for a refund either fully or partially or to fix me and unlike the initial telephone calls where he was readily avail (now he was unavailable). He did not return my calls or messages. Only the next day after I had the lumps and noticed no difference he told me the only way to fix me was to come in for more injections. He tried to charge me $1400 even though the Groupon price for 4 syringes were $1300. He agreed to charge me the $1300 after I pulled up the Groupon deal. This doctor should be investigated.
