I have 1-1/2 year old Troy-Bilt TB230 self-propelled mower which is still under warranty as of this writing (08/10/2021). Even with fresh gasoline and fuel stabilizer (Stabil), this and many of their mower models refuse to start after being idle for a month. Their local warranty agents reported that Troy-Bilt calls this "fuel-related" and refuses to cover it. But this is clearly caused by a faulty carturetor design.
I called Troy-Bilt's Customer Service, told them that I was using fresh gasoline and a stabilizer, and got the same response. Their stated warranty does NOT exclude carburetors, so this is an DELIBERATE bad-faith scam that should be reported.
