ID and Bank Account Phising Scam targeting Senior Citizens. Call from unknown female identified as Ms. Baker. She was very convincing and persuaded an Senior to disclose PPI. Personal Private Information with a "sales Pitch" that the Medicare system qualified her to extra $250 a month in Financial Benefits for Medication expenses, if is she would disclose her proper Bank Account Number, S.S. number and other personal details.
The Victim of the Phisisng Scam was hesitant and demanded a "call back number" to verify it was a MediCare employee.
Victim then called the number provided 916-573-6327 as the call back number and answered when the call was made as Ms. Baker with Medicare.
Victim had second thoughts and contacted her Bank and prevented the illegal phising and ACH Defrauding of the Senior Citizen Victim.
The same scammer called the Victim back after the Bank Account declined the ACH transaction and under the pretense of concerne for the Victim as the "Insurance Benefit" was not "going through".
The Schemer is still answering the phone as if she is still in business as of today. Beware of any Calls from the likes of a Ms. Baker or whatever alias she may be using and hang up on Fraud and report the incident to the DNC at bear minimum. If you or someone you know is scammed by these diabolical fraudsters, call the local P.D. and report them after you call your bank to shut down the account for and place a "Fraud Alert" .
