Bad, bad experience with the Seaford location. Paid $480+ for an alignment on December 31, 2017. Had brand new tires by my regular mechanic on Dec. 29. By March 15, 2018, I had 2 dangerously bad tires in the back (the front tires were the problem in December). March 17, 2018, another $363.98, and I still don't know if I have a decent alignment after spending OVER $800....and I still need two new tires, which I will buy anywhere but here. BTW, the quote for an alignment if you call up is $95. Manager said he would "work" with us on new tires and then DID NOTHING. Manager said he would call us and NEVER DID. Then the laundry list of other things wrong with the car, none of which were mentioned in December and some that are totally NOT true. That just struck me as a CYA for the 1st botched alignment.Plan to pursue this corporately, not through the local franchise. They have proven themselves untrustworthy, if not downright incompetent
Has an honesty problem. Tries to rip you off with unusually high quotes. Example: Headlight bulb, 150.00 bucks. No way. This guy has the personality of a shoe box as well and could care less if you are ready to strangle him or not. Flat affect and lets you walk out frustrated. He's attempted to flim flam me and friends and family over various issues. I won't return. Manager needs to go.
I purchased new tires for my truck and went to mr tire for a wheel alignment, I paid for the service and was told the printer was broken. I complained about it and was contacted by the store whom said they would send it to me when the printer was fixed. I am sorry but if you have no printer and do wheel alignments how is the customer to know the measurements before and after the service. I felt like no service was done due to no paperwork except a reciept. I never recieved the promised paperwork.
Like others have reported I received a $19.99 oil change coupon in the mail and sent my wife to get an oil change for our car. In the end they charged her close to $30 adding fee's that were not stated and inflating the price to what most places charges to begin with. I have received oil changes from a dozen places in my lifetime and have never had 50% added to the price of a claimed special. I could indeed understand $3 for the recycling fee which most places and tax but that does not take you even close to $30. The company or the shop would do nothing except try to justify the hidden fees.
