I had Moving Stars Inc come out. They did not move everything we asked and had to finish the job ourselves. They incorrectly put back our refrigerator and bed. They drilled new holes for our refrigerator doors and didn’t hook it up correctly. My bed fell apart when I laid on it. I’m only 115lbs. They lost nuts, bolts, and screws to various things. They scratched up my dinning room table. The legs of my coffee tables are broken. I’m missing under garments from my dresser. I called and had to send pictures of everything, I was hung up on countless times, and someone came out to fix it.

He didn’t complete the job and promised he’d be back first thing in the morning. He never showed. The people in the office refused to let me speak to management even after calling back to talk to someone else. I’m left with things that are broken or not put together correctly, and no one there wants to help me fix the problem. I was more than willing to cooperate and give extra time. They skirted around my problems and attempted to put me off on someone else every time I called. All I wanted was my things to be fixed and they didn’t want to take responsibility for their actions

Movers showed up 4 hours late for our move. They were supposed to arrive between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on June 30th. They were to arrive at 2355 State Highway 360 apartment 1128. Your movers showed up at 8 p.m. to the delivery address of 5202 Alta Vista Lane. They were then rerouted to the pickup address the truck they showed up in was too small. We had to wait an hour and a half for a larger truck to show up. The delivery truck did not make it to the delivery location until almost midnight. And they were not finished unloading until 1:30 in the morning on July 1st. Your delay cost me an additional $45 in rent and your company was fully aware that we had to vacate by midnight June 30th. You damaged my TV and to add insult to injury your movers left sweat stains on my walls and furniture.

I would not recommend Moving Stars to anyone. The service was absolutely terrible. I booked this company to help me pack my kitchen, wall decorations/frames and dining room. Our service time was to begin anytime from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The head crew member called me at 9:41 a.m. to tell me he would not be there until 10:30 a.m. I reminded him of the agreed start time, and he said he couldn't be there until 10:30 a.m. so he would be there then. When he arrived at 10:28 a.m. and began the job at 10:29 a.m., he wrote down that he started at 10:00 a.m. on the sheet. He later lied about when he started to his supervisor on the phone. The two-man crew started to pack the kitchen while my husband and I packed in another room. About 3/4th of the way through packing the kitchen, I realized they were doing a terrible job. Boxes were so over stuffed they were tearing at the seams. When I started to open a few boxes and tell them it wasn't ok to over stuff boxes, I found that our glass items were packed with out paper, bubble wrap or any protection! Sharp knives were floating around with other kitchen utensils unprotected.

It was so bad I told them to stop and called their field supervisor. Their field supervisor came to my house and agreed this was not acceptable. He said he needed to talk to the Houston office for a resolution and someone would call me later that day. No one called me. I called the field supervisor again. He indicated he had them on the other line and they would call shortly. Again, no one contacted me. I called the field supervisor several more times; however, he stopped answering my calls. I called the Houston office around 4:30 p.m. that day. I was told the person I needed to talk to had left for the day, and he would call in the morning. The next morning, no one called. I called the Houston office again and reached an employee that refused to give me his name. He told me he spoke with the field supervisor and the field supervisor said there was "not a problem." I said there absolutely was a problem and every box the 2-person crew packed needed to be re-packed, and I had photos of how badly it was packed. He had me send photos to [email protected]. Again, he wouldn't give me his name or direct email address. I emailed the photos to which I received no response. The next day, I called the Houston office 4 different times. No one that could help me was available, nor did anyone call back despite my attempts to leave a message.

Currently, Capital One is disputing the charge on my behalf. This company is a disaster. Not only do they employ careless packers, there is no accountability from management either. My recommendation is to take your business elsewhere.
