We moved from NJ to Florida and used Moving Relocation Systems for the move. The day of the move they had me sign papers and did not explain what all the papers were for. Then only gave me a copy of what they were going to move for us and not any other paperwork.

They did not get to the house when they said they would they were actually over a week to do so. Causing us all kinds of problems. Many items were broken and damaged beyond repair. I later found that a ring was missing. After numerous emails, texts and phone calls. I was informed by the BBB to file a claim with their insurance company CSIPros, which I did.

I tried numerous times to contact CSI once the claim was submitted and was unable to get intouch with them. I reached out to the BBB to help me and the BBB was able to get intouch with them and gave me the email and phone number to contact them. I was asked to send pictures, which I did. It took almost two years before I actually received a quote of what they say Moving Relocations would pay. Which wouldn't cover the repairs to the larger furniture. I was told to agree or not agree to the settlement and of course I disagreed and sent a letter stating why. I received a email that do to my non interest the claim was closed. I emailed them and called them about this. This is when I found out that CSI is not their insurance company but a company that tells them if they have to pay for damages and or lost or stolen items. All this time I thought I was dealing with their insurance company.

I was told by Kristy the women at CSIPros that I had no right to get paid for any damages or missing items. I tried to explain everything to her and also informed her that I had sent them all the information from the very beginning including the poor behavior of Moving Relocated Systems up to the fact that I had made a police report regarding a missing ring and how they dumped all my jewelry into a box not waiting for me to do it at which time a ring was noticed missing once I started to try to go through the box of everything that was just dumped and mixed together. I also explained that though there was a lot of things broken I understand I can't get them all replaced some are old and collectables. But I wanted to have my curious repaired and my dining room table repaired. I was informed that the federal law states that they are not responsible for damages and or missing items.

To avoid any issues if you need to move do not use Moving Relocation Systems. The have very poor customer service skills and do not help you should any of your property get damaged and believe me it will get damaged the way they handle it. They will then lead you to believe that their insurance company is CSIPros, which it is not and they will prolong the claim until it runs out and then tell you that theres no federal laws to hold them responsible for damages and or missing items.

I had $5,161 of items missing from my inventory from the move from Ithaca, NY to Lake Wales, FL. arriving 4 days past the delivery dates of 2 - 14 days. I had $4,695 worth of damaged or totally destroyed items because of their inability to tie down any items in the truck and just let things slide and settle as they would. The company overcharged me $1,519+ for additional cubic feet for this move for which they then tacked on more fuel surcharge of $75.

When I contacted the company about these problems they told me to contact their insurer's and they would take care of everything once they had my claim filed. I filed my claim for a total of $11,850 including $100 per day that I had to wait around my home for delivery because driver stated every morning for 4 days he would be there that day at 9am. Spent numerous days filling out and filing forms with their insurance claims dept.

Was contacted 2 months+ later to be offered $257. I was told and under the impression that my things were fully insured for $61,162. They marked an X in the box on their forms that stated .60 on the poundage for my lost or damaged items.

I entrusted this company with personal family heirlooms stolen from me that no amount of monies can replace. I was chargd for full service which includes disassembly and reassembly of furnishings, loading of all items and unloading and placement of items at final destination. I have a shoulder issue and my husband has a bad back.

Upon arriving at our home in Florida at 8:20pm driver Julio and helper Warren (whom I found out was hired off the street at the local gas station in town to help unload for 2.5 hours at $32 an hour ~ not a contracted bonded individual working for the MRS company.) Warren worked till 10:50pm and left ~ leaving the driver to finish the other half. At 12:30 driver Julio stated he was to tired to continue dropping off 80+ boxes in our garage, 20+ boxes in oour driveway and left the furniture out in our screened lanai.

While leaving our property driver wiped out our dual mailbox unit which we had to have someone fix the next day so Federal mail could be delivered to ours and our neighbors home.

Have contacted any and all services to put in complaints.

If they sound too good to be true they probably are not as great as they seem. Do not become their next victim. If they say to check their positive reviews, if you look carefully you might notice alot of the same last name and even the same exact review put in on numerous dates.

After searching online numerous complaint against them for missing property, damaged property, over charges and holding property for hostage until you pay an exorbitant amount extra or they threaten to put your items in storage and auction them off.

This company claimed that they had to rent a smaller shuttle truck to be able to come into my communitee. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Truck JJK LLC owned by the driver out of Clifton, NJ was not a rental shuttle truck.

They are not even willing to pay me the federally mandated .60 on the pound for missing and damaged items.

If you are a honest hard working person this is not the moving company for you.

I asked for a moving quote from this company from NJ to CO. I was contacted by a person named Rich who told me he was the owner. He quoted me $6500 for my move. Several days before the move he changed the cubic feet and the price went to $9500 with a "binding estimate" that supposedly meant they couldn't charge me any more than that. We went over a basic inventory list and my reply was always the same. It's a 4 bedroom house with a basement, patio and garage. His pitch was that he was a professional, this was his company and they owned their own fleet of trucks. They employed a full time staff so there would be no surprises or hidden charges. We agreed who would do the majority of the packing etc. I turned down a similar guaranteed price quote of $9600 because I was assured - that was the very top end of the quote and in his professional experience, I wouldn't even approach that number. He felt confident I would be closer to $7000 but capped at $9500.

I am recently widowed and this was the type of business my husband would normally handle, I had little choice but to trust a stranger on their word. His claim of ownership of the company, fleet and crew put my mind at ease a bit. The company called me the day before the move instead of a 4-7 day window as promised. I was given the next morning at 8am for a move window or it would be put off for a few weeks. After jumping through hoops and working through the night to pack and organize. The moving crew showed up at about 10am. They were a contracted crew hired for the day, not full time employees. An orange "Allied" truck pulled up not a privately owned truck as I was assured. After packing my house up in the truck the contractor handed me an invoice for $17,400!!! He told me I had exceeded the cubic foot estimate by quite a bit. I couldn't see how that was possible as every estimate I got gave me the approximate same cubic feet. I was then put on the phone with another "owner" named Tina. She told me I could pay the price on the contract or they could sell my belongings at auction as they had everything I owned on their truck. I was literally paying a ransom to get my belongings back. She "negotiated" the price downt to $15,200. Still almost twice the price and 3x's the initial quote. I would have to pay cash to get my things off the truck. Not a cashier's check or credit card - CASH ONLY.

When the truck arrived in Colorado and I gave the driver over $6500 in cash, they began to unload the whole truck into the garage. I stopped them asking why they weren't putting things in the assigned rooms and was told that none of the boxes were labeled. We had to open every box to see where it was going. It was at that point I discovered why there was so much extra cubic feet added to the move. The BOXES WERE MOSTLY WRAPPING PAPER. Some boxes contained only 1 or 2 extension cords or surge protectors in the entire box. They were more that 75% full of paper. It was a stunning realization at how well executed this scam was. After sorting through mountains of paper(over 51 trash bags full) I realized I was missing several items. My entire collection of kitchen cookware has disappeared. Dressers of belongings from the bedrooms are unaccounted for. Several pieces of furniture were broken and to add insult to serious injury - there are boxes in my garage that don't belong to me. Someone else somewhere is missing their boxes. My husband's dresser - which is just personal belongings - is unaccounted for. The jewelry stand he bought me for our last anniversary before he died is in about 10 pieces. My office desk has broken legs. I spoke to "Tina" about the overcharges asking her to be reasonable as this was an exceptionally difficult time and move and her answer to me was " we all have our problems".

A few days later I received another phone call from "Mike" who also claimed to be the owner. He stated that he had been out of the country for my move and wanted to resolve it amicably. He offered me a $500 discount as he felt bad all of my cookware was unaccounted for. I hung up that call completely disgusted and not knowing who owned the d**n company. Two days later I received a call from "Rob" and guess what? He claims that HE is the owner of Moving Relocation Systems. I was contacted by a company who claims to be an arbitrator in this case, but they were contracted by the moving company. There were multiple BBB complaints against them as well so i haven't answered them. At this point I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company as I can't do anything about the cash that was paid. They are a despicable and well organized scam. It's like a shell game. They stall and change places and use additional companies to help them scam. I still don't know who the owner is after 4 different people have claimed the title. I simply want to move forward and if I can help anyone else avoid this nightmare of a company hopefully they'll read this and it will help.

They appear legitimate and their sales people are slick. He was persistent from the start and I genuinely thought he wanted to help me. The only thing they wanted to help with was taking my money. I am a newly single/widowed mother of 3. I can't afford this type of scam. My bank account will take a long time to recover, they shoudln't be allowed to practice business like this. They quoted a "binding price" and it wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.
