Motorola Reviews
Wasted nearly two weeks dealing with both customer support and the executive escalations team. In the end they offered a significantly more inferior phone model with no warranty. Just wow!
When considering Motorola products, consider searching online under keywords "motorola" "lenova" and "complaints". You are likely to find thousands of unhappy customers that actually spent the time posting their concerns online as a WARNING for you and I to read and consider.
I was told by Motorola that I have two options send the phone to them and wait 7 to 10 days for them to send me a new one or they can charge a credit card 400 dollars and will credit bact to my account when they receive my phone , I told them I could not go without a phone that long it was only way I had to be contacted by my sick mother and if something went wrong and needed me and I did not have a credit card , they basically said that was the only choices I had and that was it . I have owned nothing but Motorola phones since first ones came out many years ago and never had problems out of any of them till this one when one of the connectors fell out of the back making my Moto mod useless and they can't trust me to send my phone back when I received a new one and service was swapped over. I guess if you don't have a credit card I'm not a good person to them , so the only choice I have is to start buying another brand of cell phone beacouse they won't stand behind there 750 dollar phone , what do you do ???
I have a defective Motorola Razor V3M that was sent to me by the executive offices of Motorola to replace several other defective refurb V60 phones.
This brand new Razor V3M was used about twice for a couple of days on a pre-paid account. It sat in a box 99% of the time. It looks brand new like it was never used. The screen on the phone all of a sudden freezes up when checking the inbox for texts and at one time it would turn itelf off and the screen became white. It would cut out after dialing a phone number.
According to the internet there are many people with this same problem and Motorola had new solution for the problem.
There is also no option on the phone to do a Master Reset. There is no code to type in to solve the problem. I have also read there was suppose to be a software update but they never notified me.
Their customer service people told me there is no guarantee that they will replace it and they gave me a hard time when I asked for their Fed Ex Account number in order to ship it back to them.
When I tried emailing the CEO the email was returned undleiverable. When I left a message at their corporate office no one called me back.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
I sent in a broken phone to Motorola for repairs after speaking with a customer service representative with whom I discussed the issue. I received the phone back, a week and a half later despite their promise of "5 business days," with NO returns. I called customer service and was transfered to too many people -- talked to 8 people -- and no one could help me.
I am still going back and forth with them, despite our coming to a conclusion. They refused to bypass their system for their mistake so will be putting a $500 charge on my account and charging me $25. This has been horrendous and I will not recommend this company to anyone.
