Recently had a transaction with Doren and I don't usually write these but I want to make sure that people like him get out of the Marketing space and stop selling products that they don't stand behind. I recently purchased the Database marketing program and right from the beginning it was very entry level. Not something you would expect to pay $5000 for. But Doren is good at pitching you stuff. When I expressed that it was not what I signed up for I was convince to stay on for 90days and then told verbally (shame on me for trusting someone that won't keep their word) that he would refund every penny if I am still not happy. Once 90days past and implementing items from the program which come across as spammy the results were very sub par and on occassion detrimental to my business. I had many very good referral sources unsubcribe from my email list because they didn't like the spam.

When I reached back out to Doren he then started to interrogate me so that he could build and argument that it was my fault. I have been in this for 11yrs, my brokerage does 190 Milllion worth of volume which is good in small market Alberta, I am no rookie and I have been around the block. When you start getting that feeling of holy crap my clients think I am a loser it makes it hard to push forward. But we kept going. He gives you a bunch of scripts which are corny and sound like you are a multilevel marketer so as anyone does when they are given a script they change it up to suit their personality so it doen't sound fake. Doren will use his against you and tell you that it is your fault because you didn't do things exactly as prescribed. We gave multiple examples of what we implemented and he will come back and agrue everyone telling you that you are not executing. He pretends to be a tough coach when he is just seating because he cannot afford to give you a refund.

He is not a man of integrity so I doubt that anything will come out of this for me but I am hoping that if you are ready this and you are thinking about anything he attached his name to please do not proceed. Please only support people who stand behind their work and stay true to their word. What you will hear will sound like exactly what you need because he will say what ever you need to hear. Then when you start the program it is all beginner strategies that only marginally work if you were selling candles. Then when you realize you have been screwed and lied to it is too late as he will say anyting to you to make it seem like you were the one to blame.

I provided a ton of proof of what was executed and it wasn't good enough. Says it wasn't done right but when your clients are hating what you are sending out, you tend to pull back and readjust. He will jump all over this to withhold any refund.

He also boasted a bonus of 2 tickets to his live event which never ever happened more product he offers to get you to sign up and then doesn't deliver on. Please direct your money away from Doran and to someone who actually cares about your business.

Client Expects Results without Proper Execution

This client says the our Database Marketing Acceleration Formula course is "entry level", however, after reviewing what he actually implemented from our system, it is clear he is not coachable and did not implement a single strategy or campaign as prescribed.

After 2 weeks of half-hearted, feeble, uncommitted execution, he began to complain about the fact he didn't think it would work. He thought it was too "entry level". I reassured him and suggested that he should stop prejudging and just follow the formula exactly as prescribed for 90 days, and if he's not happy with the results I'll give him all his money back.

Well, after 90 days, the client came back saying he wanted his money back.

Frankly, we normally don't even offer a refund policy - as results do vary based on the diligence, work ethic, coachability and execution of the client. That's why I didn't give him any written guarantee when he signed up for the course.

As a matter of fact, now we go one step further and have all our clients sign a user agreement, so that they understand that there are no guarantees on results. This puts ownership of proper execution and implementation in the hands of the client, and the corollary is that our students are getting WAY better results (see links below for proof).

The key to success with this - and anything else in life - is proper execution.

However, I was -- and still am -- happy to give this client a full refund, if I see that he has implemented my formula according to my specific prescription laid out in the course, and has given it sufficient time to yield fruit.

With that said, after receiving an email from the client clearly delineating that he has not implemented anything according to my prescription (but felt that I had not supported him enough) I sent him this reply:

==

"I'm sorry you feel that way. We have live Q&A calls every Friday (I haven't seen you on one of them for a while now). I send you emails twice per week asking if you have any questions. What additional support were you wanting?

When baking a cake, the results you get are based on your execution (the right ingredients, in the right sequence, in the right proportions). This is exactly the same. If you want to get better results, we need you to be coachable and follow the proven formula.

I don't understand your reference to "spamming". I hate spamming and have never recommended it. What makes you feel that I am recommending that you blindly spam your customers?

Thank you for replying with your feedback. Here are my comments/questions...

1) I see that you have only loaded 7 clients into the Testimonial Engine. That tells me you didn't follow my prescription of only sending the Magic Wand letter to "raving fans" who gave you a positive review. That's precisely why your results were lacklustre. For optimal results, you need to send the letter to raving fans and then follow up by phone using my proven script.

2) It doesn't matter how good your email marketing campaign is, you're never going please everyone. A certain amount of unsubscribes is a good sign, that means you're actually sending emails out consistently. The fact that you only had 15 out of 700 to unsubscribe means that you had a very low unsubscribe rate of just .02%. That's crazy low! Keep in mind that your goal should not be to please everybody (mission impossible). Instead, your goal is to generate more repeat and referral business by sending quality content consistently. It's about progress in profit, not perfection.

3) Again, my program doesn't recommend "blindly spamming" people who don't know you. Instead, it recommends you send the buyer and seller agent a Thank You card after each purchase transaction and then follow up by phone to invite them to meet for coffee to talk about how you can help them grow their business. Then AFTER you have established a relationship, send them a weekly video with tips that add value to their business. It's all based on a pre-existing relationship and adding unique value. Make sense?

4) Since you're not sending out the emails to your clients anymore, obviously that makes calling them to talk about the videos irrelevant.

5) I have a great system for boosting show up rate with Annual Mortgage Reviews, if you would like to learn it. It will take your show up rate from 2 out of 10 to 7 out of 10. Since you have only done 2 AMRs, your sample size is way too low. After you complete 10 AMRs while following my script, you'll see it's one of the most profitable 15-minute conversations you can ever happen with your clients. One of my clients generated an extra $200k in the last 2 years just with this one strategy alone!

6) When it comes to long-term nurture campaigns (like weekly videos or a monthly direct mail newsletter), it's impossible to have it be customized for each individual person. That doesn't stop it from building top of mind awareness, adding value, educating your clients and attracting repeat and referral business. The job of LONG TERM NURTURE is staying TOP OF MIND, not providing custom messages. The custom messages are done with Trigger Campaigns, not Long Term Nurture. Make sense?

Rest assured, I am a man of my word. My system works, IF you work it.

Here's proof:

So far, you haven't given me any information that shows that you've even implemented one strategy according to my prescription, let alone three.

If you are really committed to your breakthrough, I would suggest you stop complaining and start executing. Trust the process. Follow the formula. Do the work.

If you're willing to get in the game and COMMIT to your breakthrough and if you're willing to be coachable, I can coach you to success. I'm ready when you are."

===

As you can appreciate from my communication above, I have been upfront and honest with this client from the very beginning.

The client says that our strategies are "corny" and "entry level" and "spammy", however, these are the exact same strategies that took one of my clients from 3 deals per month to a $100M/year in funded deals (top 3 in his entire company) in just 3 years. As you can see from the links above, our stuff works, IF you work it.

Our refund policy is still available for this client if he is willing to work the system properly. But unfortunately, this client would rather complain that commit to his breakthrough.

And that's precisely why we now have all of our clients sign a user agreement before they can even access our system, so they understand there are no refunds. They must commit to themselves and their breakthrough to ensure success. The only guarantee is this: if you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got.

I hope that helps to clarify the situation, now that you've heard both sides of the story.

Purchased Doren Aldana mortgage marketing program; originally told you would receive ARS tangible version; but after purchase was told they no longer had that and they would send me the online version. Was also promised one on one coaching - never happened; continuously spammed with emails and promotion to purchase more material; material received was out dated; pertained to strategies in US area and not applicable. Product was useless; contacted company for refund was told that they would check to see if it was eligible to be refunded even though their ad clearly stated 60 day money back guarantee. Company is now not responding to any emails; calls; FB posts. I wouldn't recommend any of this company products; waste of money; and now my time to try and get them to refund it back.

Give me your name - we'll give you a refund

I'm sorry to hear that about your experience. I was not aware about this until now. I'm happy to give you a full refund. All I need is your name and we can issue the refund. Please advise. Thank you!
