In may of 2019 i attempted to purchase a marketing system called mobile optin. I paid the first installment of $797 which was to be one of three payments. I did this out of good faith based on the presentation of anthony morrison. I did not get a working access link to start using the product and i contacted the company immediately.
I did this for many days with no success although the payment was made via my bank credit card. After three weeks i contacted the bank with a request that they reverse the charge as i had not received anything for this charge. They opened an investigation but ultimately reversed their decision to treat this fraudulent charge and continued to bill me although i gave them every indication that i had not received any access and therefore the sale was not completed. The legal definition for a legitimate sale is that "goods and/ or services must be received in exchange of money.
I fully understood that morrison had a clause that the purchase was non-refundable, but since this did not meet the basic minimum requirements for a sale, my seeking a refund for monies submitted did not legally apply as nothing No product or service) was received and therefore did not apply to my situation.
After going back and forth with the bank Credit one bank) i have still not received a credit for this purchase and am still expected to make payments to this account Which i do along with interest charged).
After over two months, morrison Via his mobile optin team) sent me an "welcome email" relating to the product. B y this time i had forgotten the uses of this program as a great deal of time had passed and my recollection as to why and how i could use this had left me in unfamiliar territory a*s to the benefits if i were to get the program. I therefore refused to open this email which i still have in my possession as the extensive amount of time that had lapsed made this purchase non-feasible and worthless.
At this time i am seeking only a refund of the money i paid back into my account and require no further dealings with anthony morrison through any of his products and service programs.
I am hopeful that this experience will allow others who are interested in similar products/ services not be conned into a purchase that is fraudulent at best. This assumption is based on all relevant facts relating to this transaction and the claims are being made not only to remedy my own financial blunder with dealing with this company by not completely checking out the company and its principals through consumer reporting agencies such as the "bbb," "scamion" and other reporting agencies.
I got word about this course - fan page domination - through another big name in online "guru" - mike filsame.
At first sight, the business model introduced thru this course makes sense, at least at a high level:
Start a facebook fan page offering some inticing giveaway for fans to subscribe to your email list. Then to recover the cost of the giveaway In fact more than just recover, but make a profit) once these fans register, they're sent to a thank you page with google adsense ads on it which generate income to offset the cost of the giveaway and make this free traffic.
After that, you're left with an email list, which in theory, you didn't pay for and then you make money from sending them various offers.
However, for all of this to work, you need many tens of thousands of fans to be on your page to begin with. The traffic and sign-ups generated from the efforts described in the course are far too few and insignifcant to be able to cover any of the costs associated in running this business.
Most people that bought this course end up paying anywhere from 10¢ to 40¢ per fan using fb ads and since not all those fans subscribe to the emai list, the cost of email subscribers can be $1 or more. So if you do the math, this becomes a very expensive business to start and there's nothing free about it.
Furthermore, in investigating how anthony morrison has gotten his demo fan page up and running and having 10 of thousands of fans and making money of his thank you page, a few of us Students that fell into this scam) did some digging and found the false claims which makes this an absloute scam:
Morrison says in the course:
1. He waited about a year before giving away the first vacation. Not true. He gave away a lot in a few months in 2014. He gave away money. Gift cards. Trips. Paid offers that brought traffic.
2. He said he never used fb ads to get traffic. Not true. He boosted a post for a lot of money to get 90 thousand likes on july 10 2015, 300k shares!!!! https://goo.Gl/ybd0v6 he also did paid offers.
So although he does give a lot practical steps in the videos, his results are not based on how he says to start doing it. It is what he does now.
You will not get 400k of followers in 2 years just by following the methods in the course.
You will not even come close unless you advertise. To get his results, it will cost you a lot.
Stay clear of anthony morrison and any of his courses - he's a first class scammer and fraudster! check how many outscam he has here - it's incredible he's still going ...!!!
