I brought my 2003 Honda Odyssey Mini Van to have my back seat and trunk carpets replaced, windows tinted, rear windows' motors fixed, front seats reupholstered, rear door plastic guard replaced, sliding door rubber bumpers replaced, front door locks and upholstery repaired, sound proof padding, minor cosmetic repairs. After 3 weeks of having my vehicle they called me to tell me it was ready for pick up. When I arrived I noticed right away that the mid-section of my van and trunk-well that were removed by Moose Auto Glass company had visible grease stains.
At first sight I was not convinced that the back carpet was replaced because it was thin and looked the same as before whereas the front seats were evidently new and plush. There were also grease stains on the back door of my trunk from the employees fingerprints. He said his pants and hands had grease on them when he was kneeling down in my back trunk. My van is white so it stuck out like a sore thumb. I addressed my issues to one of the employees. The Manager came out and said they don't normally do this but would detail my vehicle as if he was doing me a favor? I mean, seriously? I paid $3800 for this work to be done so why wouldn't they clean up my van after the mess they made?
The plastic handle for the gas tank opener was missing which they said they ordered a replacement. A rubber/plastic piece that I assume is for the A/C is missing as well as another piece. And the window control panel isn't screwed in either. I think 3 weeks is plenty of time to have finished this work although I made it clear that I didn't want them to rush the job so it can be done thoroughly and because I have another vehicle anyway. So in essence, they could have taken their time to do it right the first time. Overall, this company missed a number of details that are blatantly obvious and required of a company that pride themselves in gilding the lily.
