Very disappointed in my experience with this company, which I spotted via a Facebook ad. The toddler dress I ordered 1) took more than a full month to arrive and 2) was nowhere near the quality I expected. Did not bother trying to return it... particularly since the company's policy states: Only store credit will be given for returned items, no refund of payment. And customers are responsible for cost of return shipping. Website has attractive photos -- wish the item quality lived up to the photos. Also notice that the company operates out of an L.A. Post Office box -- no street address or phone number for proprietors. Glad I only purchased one item; will never purchase from them again.
I just ordered a toddler raincoat from a small online company named Moonlight Bundles that was advertised on Facebook. The website looked legitimate and the items pictured appeared to be of high quality. The cost of the raincoat was around $35 USD, which although isn't crazy expensive, it was expensive enough that no scam alarm bells went off.
They advertise (misleadingly) on their website (moonlightbundles. com) that they are "a husband and wife team located in Los Angeles who pride ourselves on exclusively selecting products we believe in and would purchase ourselves", however, the jacket was shipped from from China (not LA) and is not at all as pictured on their website.
I ordered the "fall colours rain jacket" which is described as a combination of cotton and acrylic and obviously should be waterproof, since it is a rain jacket. The jacket that arrived is a different colour - ugly rust yellow instead of a vibrant orange, is made of very cheap material, has a completely different tag and is not at all waterproof. The cute cat pattern is also off, making the cats that decorate it look massive, menacing and creepy, instead of cute. I order clothing regularly online through Etsy and other online companies and I have never received an item that was not the one in the website picture.
I emailed Moonlihgt Bundles with my complaint and they responded by referring to the small print on their website stating that they ship from Asia, even though they are a husband and wife company from LA. They also don't offer refunds, just exchanges, but you must pay to ship your item back.
They did not make any attempt to clarify why they sent me a completely different item then is advertised/pictured on their website, which is false advertising. I wrote them back escalating my complaint and threatening legal action.
They have yet to respond, but have since gone on their website and added a "winter" version of the rain jacket in the last hour, immediately after I sent them the email threatening legal action. They only have 11 jackets in total on their website and they literally just posted the exact same jacket that I ordered (but the ghetto version) and labeled it the "winter" jacket.... I assume they did this so that they can say they accidentally sent me the wrong one. This supposed winter jacket has absolutely no lining whatsoever and was just conveniently added to their site, even though there are no other winter items and it is an ugly copy version of something else they sell??
I assume I will not get my money back, but wanted to warn other people as they are consistently coming up on my Facebook feed and don't want them to scam others.
BE WARNED! The items on the website might look super cute but sorry to disappoint, it’s not worth it! I ordered a bunch of items in November and it is now January and I am still waiting for the last of my order to arrive. Each item arrives separately because they each come from different places. I’m guessing most items are shipped from China because it takes a very long time to receive these items and the writing on the label is in Chinese. The items arrive with no receipt, just the item in the packaging. I noticed that a lot of the items are not the same material they write on the website. I only buy 100% cotton for my baby so I only bought items that said 100% cotton. I come to find out that a few of these items were not 100% cotton. There is no phone number to contact the company. the only way to contact them is through an automated system on Facebook messenger. They refused to refund me for the items that had misleading information on the site because they’re policy is exchanges only. This is an illegal system and not worth the hassle. Don’t buy from them!
I ordered $73 worth of children's clothing for Christmas. I was charged for it but no shipping notification was ever sent, nothing was ever delivered and it is near impossible for me to contact them since their only option for "Contact Us" is via Facebook Messenger robot
I ordered a kids jacket from a pop up ad on facebook. BIGGEST mistake ever. It took forever to get here first of all. The price was nothing spectacular and the quality of the item was poor (ASIDE from the large hole in it when it arrived). I contacted them to send it back for an exchange and was informed that I had to pay to ship the defective item back. WHY? Their quality control is non existent obviously. All the responses are literally automated via facebook messenger. Their "about us" section of the website indicated that they are from California, yet the item came directly from China. The dialogue is clearly with someone who has a script for every event. I am going to dispute this on my credit card as well.
