Montana Muscle and classics actually sells cars out of San Diego. Nate complicates laws and mixes grey areas in at every opportunity in order to avoid the admittedly ridiculous CA dmv laws.
My problems started when we purchased a Cadillac Escalade from him in December. We flew out, paid in full and drove the suv home. We had a temp tag but now are on our 2nd temp tag and STILL waiting for Nate's ex wife Samantha, his Montana secretary, to deliver us a clear and authentic title. We have begged her and contacted her every other day for a month or more. Her latest attempt to placate was to send the title, after actually texting a photo of the alleged title to me, only to place the wrong address on the envelope and have it returned to her.
Makes you get suspicious right? Yep. Never had the title in the first place. And our 2nd temp tag will force us to park this Cadillac in about a week. Never in my life would I have had such difficulty getting the title. Lesson learned, NEVER pay unless you receive a clean and clear title. I"m NOT a car buying pro. I'm a carpenter. I fix houses, mostly my own.
One other caveat is that we had to pay $1300 when we arrived home for a difficult light module for the tailights located up under the steering column. In Nathan's in depth videos, where he claims to declare every possible flaw in the vehicle, somehow he forgot to mention this tail light malfunction....which seems like a small thing until you realize its not juswt replacing the bulb, but removing a good portion of the dash/steering column to get to the control.
So at this point were still being put off by a frantic Samantha and I have contacted an attorney, but would prefer an attorney contact me from MT. This is my real name. We need to let others know about Nathan and Samanta Wratislaw and Montana Muscle and Classics... scammers.
