Protection Plan was bought at the time I bought new sectional sofa. Air conditioner stoped working and the result of that the vinyl coverage of the sofa was cracked . Called the Montage Firniture Service immediately. They refused to take care of the sofa, claiming it was regular tear and wear.

Furniture was kept very well, no children, no pets. They just collect money for not cheap protection plan without doing their job.

I invested money into furniture. The retail store sold the fraugulent protection and Furniture services simply refused to do their job. Olease help me.Claim ID with the service is PM2138744

On July 17,2017, I bought a motorized leather sofa at El Dorado Furniture at West Palm Beach, FL 33409.

Before the sale was concluded, the salespeople at the store told me about purchasing a 3 year (expires July 17, 2020) protection plan. I purchased the policy with the sofa. However, on March of 2019 I called both Smart Choice and El Dorado Furniture that my sofa was sinking on the right cushion. They refused to help us. After contacting the BBB, El Dorado said that they will fix my sofa but I have to pay for repairs!

We bought a beautiful and very expensive fire feature table and chairs. When offered a Furniture Protection Package which will cover any of life's mishaps except wear and tear, we decided to take it. After all the set was just under $5,000.00 with delivery. And the warranty was only $199.00.

Well sorry to say when the set was only a week old someone set a paper bag on the table and something leaked out of it and wrecked the finish. We followed all the instructions to file a claim.

1. Called to notify and get a claim number.

2. Use the claim number to go on-line and file a claim including uploading several pictures at different angles along with a size of damage reference.

3. Followed up to make sure they received the claim and all they needed.

We were told that a technician would determine whether it could be repaired or it would need to be replaced and we would hear from someone in a few days. Of course. we never heard back and we had to call them. They said that the table top would need to be replaced and we would get a call from the great escape in around 3 weeks to tell us it was in and schedule an appointment to have it swapped out.

4 weeks later never heard from anyone so we call them again and they said so sorry they forgot to order the top and would do it right away and call us in a few days to confirm the order and give us an estimated time of delivery to the great escape. Well, that was 4 days ago. So now I will be calling them again tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the next excuse and get some additional run-around.

Since I was writing this complaint I've noticed tons of other people complaining about this company on-line. So Do Not Buy a Furniture Protection Plan from these people! My table is looking a mess for almost 2 months now with no resolution in sight. Only aggravation.

This company is focused on making money and losing nothing. Furniture is quickly discountinued so people may not get what they need. I bought a bed in 2012 that broke June 1st. I called to make a claim and was sent an email with a link that lead to an error page. I was finally able to get the correct link after 2 additional phone calls and file my claim. Two weeks later I was asked for photos. I called an emailed that the photos were not accepted due to the size. A week later I was informed that the initial person who took the claim used the wrong name and receipt. I then called and emailed the correct information. After another week I called to see what needed to be done next. They still did not have the right information so I had to proved it for the third time. I was told that a tech would be sent out to check the furniture. Three days later I had not heard from anybody so I called again. I had to provide the correct information for the fourth time then was asked to provide the photos (again) and wait for the receipt to be forwarded (again). I asked to talk to a supervisor, was put on hold for 45 minutes then was hung up on. After yet another week I was told that they still needed the receipt. This was provided by Ashley's Furniture once again. I was then asked for the photos. I reiterated that their system would not accept my photos. I was told that a tech would be calling. A week later I was finally called. However, the woman was asking if I could send photos (again). Then she realized that the information was incorrect (again). At the end of this call I was told that a tech would be contacting me. A day later I called for an update to be asked for the photos, be told that the information was incorrect, and that a supervisor was unavailable. I have now been without a bed for 3 months and have gotten nowhere with this claim. I would advise that you run immediately. This company is unorganized, badly trained, and extremely lazy. The communication is obviously nonexistent. They need to be shut down ASAP.
