On approximately May 3, 2018 we spoke to Christopher Saylor over the phone and hired Molly Maids to clean the walls, windows, stove and refrigerator in a vacant apartment. We told Christopher, what we wanted done, as did our maintenance man, Joe, who conveyed the instructions to the ladies that arrived from Molly Maids. They informed him a supervisor would come to check their work but one never showed up. When I flew into town on May 7, 2018 I found they had not done any of the work they were hired to do and had also broken a ceiling fan. I contacted Christopher, the owner John Saylor's son, and he just laughed when I asked him to come and check out the mess they left.
He refused to have his father or a supervisor come out as well. I told him I would dispute this with my credit card company and he continued to laugh saying if I wanted to pay more money he would send them out again. I called the corporate office of Molly Maids and spoke to the President, Meg Roberts, who said they have had numerous complaints against this franchise. John Saylor in particular and would like to get them out of the Molly Maid system. She turned this over to Steve Moore who said he was extremely dissatisfied with Christopher Saylor and Christopher's father, John Saylor's lack of willingness to resolve the issue and their rude behaviour. He tried 3 times to speak with them and all 3 times was met with total disregard for their customer's satisfaction and refused to listen to the Corporate office advice.
Molly Maid came to my house once before today and charged over $400.00 for a cleaning and they left cob webs on my chandler , they didn't clean the lamps and the owner said she wanted to make it right and they would be back in 2 days to clean. No one ever showed up and didn't call. So I filled out an online resume and rated them low for not contacting me back and they called and said my next cleaning would be discounted.So they show up today and the bed wasn't made which the cost is supposed to cover, the floor wasn't mopped. None of my tables or computer desk was dusted. The lamp still wasn't cleaned and I took pictures and sent them to the owner because i called to ask where to send them. I said this house doesn't look clean does it? he said, No and I apologize. We will come back at no cost Monday and re clean. I said, ok but I want different cleaners.
So I heard nothing back and called and he said we can't service your house because you have so many animals. I run a pet sitting company and they knew that before ever coming here because they sent someone here before cleaning to assess the house and how many animals that are here. That is why we pay a lot more for cleanings. The girls lied and said feces and animal urine was on my walls. I said come out here and look yourself no there isn't. The owner said well the girls said there is so yes there is. Of course the cleaners are going to lie to protect their job. Why would I lie? I went into my spare bedroom tonight and boxes were turned upside down and my clothes are everywhere!!!They obviously were pissed I complained about them last time! The one girl was glaring at me earlier and could tell she was mad with her attitude. They lie and say they will make it right when they mess up and never do.it should also be noted that when we called back to see when they would be coming back, Monday to re clean for free, the owner then said, oh we won't be servicing your house anymore because you have animals. yeah they had no issue about there being animals when they came out to give an estimate of how much it would be to clean. Yet the animals were outside when the cleaners came. It was NEVER an issue until WE COMPLAINES!!I could care a less after my clothes being dumped all out on my floor and the house in the state it was in. I will take my business where I am valued and they believe a 40 year old woman's word over a 20 year old kid trying to save their job.
I hired basic Maids after being recomended by Palm Springs Homes and Leasing. Checks went missing and were cashed. The owner sergio refused to give me the name of the company they are insured and Bonded with. Paused when I said the persons name who cashed the checks . Stole other items, beware they probably are not iInsured or Bonded and when they steal the owner could care less. Nicholas Wade, Cathedral City, California.
Horrible service! I sent them to clean my aunts 700 sq ft apt. They ask my aunt what her cleaning priorties. My aunt specifically listed what she needed done first. They ignored her request and left without finishing the job. When I called to complain, the office manager said I would HAVE TO PAY for another visit. These girls spent 40 mins cleaning a clean bedroom! When my aunt told them they needed to start on the kitchen they said "We always start in the back and work forward ". Totally disregarding my aunts wishes. Do not use this service!
I hired Molly Maid for an hour and a half ($120) to clean my house. I have already moved out so there is nothing in the house to move. An hour and a half should be plenty of time for two women to clean a 1300 square foot house. I came home after they called to say they were finisherd and the only thing they cleaned in an hour and a half was two small bathrooms. After calling back to complain, they're response was, that's all they could clean in an hour an a half. They refused to come back to clean the house unless I paid. I am so upset and disappointed with Molly Maids. I will never use them again.
