I backed the product using idigogo. the company promised to ship the product to israel, but then coudn't and I had to make arrangements to get it fromt he US, even though I live in Israel. when I backed the company, I read all the fine print, and there was no indication that there was a time limit on when they would provide a full refund. their claim was smply that if the product didn't work, they would provide a full refund.

I had software buggy issues from the start and was in constant contact with the company. the device didn't work for at least 4 weeks total. many times I need to update software and reset the device - a process that didn't always work.

I contacted the company that the product wasn't working as promised, and they suggested that I continue using it a little longer. so I did.

I then contacted the company again and told them that the product still did not work and they then wrote and told me that it was past the 90 days. there was no discussion that the refund was required in 90 days. ironically, they tell you that you should use the product for a minimum of 90 days before you might see results. double talk.

as mentioned beforehand, I did not receive the product in israel as promised and needed someone to bring it to me from the US, so the 90 days that they were counting couldn't apply if they were a fair company. I explained this to them and they said that I must return it to them by April 5. unfortunately, when they sent that information to me, I was out of the country and wouldn't be able to even ship the product until I returned back to Israel on April 9. I told them that my nephew could ship it to them from the US on April 9, and they asked me to send it from Israel. so on April 9 I tried UPS to ship the product back to them. I have not been able to arrange a method to ship it out of Israel. the company then suggested that I send it from the US, as I had originally stated. but my nephew had already left for the US, so I couldn't get the product to him to ship to Modius. I then wrote to Modius that I will be in the US on June 1 and can ship it to them at that time. they told me that's too bad, it's way past the time and will not provide a refund of $500. I'm now stuch with the product. they know that I have not used the product since mid-March (they told me they knew, which also means that they're monitoring my personal information without my permission), and they know that I have not used the product.

this is an ufair practice. when they couldn't get the product to me Israel, I had to go through the US. now that I"m trying to return the product to them through the US, they refuse to acommodate me. and I"m out $500.
