Modern Skin Care Reviews

Given a trial of two skin care products offered on the Internet for under $12, I took the bait. One product (ie, Ombia Derma through ENHANCE HEALTH TRIAL P HEALTH PROJECT) was offered for $5.95 with the second product (ie, Renewed though NU MODERN SKIN CARE) offered for $4.95. It was "too" good to be true. Although these two products did arrive fairly quickly through the mail in a single mailing envelope, another same-like envelope was sent within the next week containing the same two products. That seemed odd, but because I have incurred a number of shipping errors by various companies over the years I thought nothing more about it...UNTIL, I looked @ my bank statement two weeks after the second package had arrived & saw new charges my Debit Card for $89.97 & $94.97, respectively. As well, the bank statement noted these charges as being "RECURRING." Unbelievable! Not only did I NOT sign up for recurring product, but when I first tried to call the telephone numbers listed along with the merchant information off my statement, but both numbers were bogus. One went to a laboratory & the other to a call center (the first time). Of course, I filed a dispute through my bank, but the Merchant's bank has refused to honor it. So, I called one of the numbers again that, this time, was answered by someone who not only said that the company would not take the product back even if I tried to send it to them, but they would not reimburse me because they "Won" the dispute. Incredible, and the telephone clerk said it with glee! Nanny, nanny... This is THE worst and only scam I have ever been involved in, thank you. I am just hopeful that the bank, who reportedly said they could go "above" filing that initial dispute by filing another claim in my behalf can settle it in my favor. The old adage "If it's too good to be true, it usually is" was uttered by someone who also had to learn the hard way. Don't do it with these products.

I ordered a face cream and an eye cream online. It was a free trial 14 day sample, for shipping only. Try for 14 days frtee. The tiny jars I received were not even enough for 14 days and did absolutely nothing, so I decided not to order any more.

Surprise! Surprise! I get my credit card bill and I am charged $89.49 for the eye cream and $94.57 for the face cream! I called immediately and was told that since I did not call to cancel within the 14 days, I was charged the full price for the jars they had already sent. Again, there was not even a 14 day supply in them, for $ 90.00 each????
