I purchased a Mode Phone. I am usually able to redeem points without a problem. This time, however, the requested a face verification. It seems that they set up the face verification to fail.
Then they came up with an absurd tactic that one has to jump through many hoops by first creating a video of themselves that lasts for more than 5 minutes. After all that, they have to attach a drivers license and/or international passport with photo and name in the video as well.

We understand you attempted the facial verification on our app, and it failed for some reason.
To authenticate your identification, please send us a recorded video file from your mobile device as an attachment to this email and make sure that:
1) The video should be more than 5 seconds. We will only accept videos of more than 5 seconds in length.
2) It must have strong front-facing lighting that reveals your face without glasses or anything hiding your facial features.
3) Show your ID next to your face; the image must be clear; we will not accept videos that are blurry.
4) If you are using your passport as identification, you only need to show the page with your photo and name (First page)
5) If you use another form of identification, you must show both sides (front and back) on the video as part of the verification process.
6) The video file must be less than 25 MB in size.
Once we receive the video as per the specified guidelines, our team will review it and get back to you within 5 business days.
