Heed my warning, steer clear of this business, had work done on my vehicle, job was terrible (took my vehicle to body shop to get quote on re-work, and they said the work performed on my vehicle was atrocious for someone to claim they have 30 years of experience).
also the owner "Pauly Mitchell" does not warranty his work/stand behind his work, I made several attempts to reach out to him for resolution; he does not return calls, text, voicemails, etc. he claims to have 30 years of experience, from the outcome of work, looks more like 30 days of experience.
Would never do business again, very unprofessional and cannot recommend this business for any type of services.
I was leaving a local business on Westheimer Road after having lunch.
I had parked my truck and went inside for no more than 20 minutes.
When I came outside I observed a white dually Silverdado 2500 begin to slow down and attempt to get my attention while driving Eastbound on Westheimer. The truck turned into the business parking lot and rolled down his window. The vehicle was occupied one time by Hispanic male roughly 5'9 - 5'10 mid/late 30's to early 40's. The driver motioned me to window and I walked to his vehicle. The driver stated that he noticed the dent above my passenger side front wheel well. I had not noticed the dent so I did turn to take a look. The driver parked his truck and got out. We both walked to look at the damage which i had not noticed because there was no missing paint associated with the dent. The driver stated he had a shop and could fix it for $200 at his shop. I had seriously considered following up but passed the first time due to time constrints. So the driver lowered his price and said he had tools in his truck and could do it in the parking lot for $100. I then politely declined again because the driver really really wanted to do that repair and offered to fill another dent for $50. I took his number (probably burner phone) and left the lot.
I was very skeptical once he offered to do it in the parking lot. I was thinking whether he was bonded and insured. He offered an guarantee but I was still skeptical of that. I read online that this type of ploy is also used when two or more people come out essentially intimidating the victim to do the work. I also read that a robbery attempt occured under similar circumstances. Be carefule out there and be skeptical. No your escape routes in the event this is more than a conveninent dent repair.
