Missouri is a horrible state to be owed child support. First the call center give out false and inconsistent information. 2nd they refuse to prosecute anyone who owes 40,000 in arrearages. They shift paper and do very little to collect. My ex owes me 43,000 and yet has never had a warrant issued or received a dime.
They keep telling me they don’t know where he lives. I have given them addresses and states and no enforcement. Missouri has the worst government agency for collecting. And even though I am legally entitled to have a social worker assigned I am never allowed to speak with her.
It is a messed up system that costs the taxpayers millions of dollars because people like me end up on some sort of welfare programs. If i receive the 1200.00 a month ordered i would not need welfare!
