Miravie Skin Care Reviews

The trial offer was divided into two separate orders. They were also charged to my credit as two orders. This was unknown to me when I placed the order.

i sent a cancellation email on day 11, then followed with a call to 888-537-5319 to verify. The automated call asked if I wanted to do easy cancellation. YES! Towards the end of the call the automated message stated I would be charged a final $38.71 for the shipment that I ordered today at the discounted price of $38.71 then I would be cancelled ! NO This is unacceptable! I get a live person!

the live person tells me I ordered again. I argued that I did not , she said I did , I tell her I don't know what's going on but she better cancel it cause I'm not paying it! She tells me she has to reopen the account and that I will have to call back on a particular date to avoid the $38.71 charge. Bullshit. Now I'm pissed.

While this is going on I find the $38.

71 pending in my bank, and I receive a cancellation email only for one order!

i tell the girl to get her supervisor , I want this cancelled now!

The b**** put me on hold and did not return.

I called the bank. Because I sent out a cancellation email prior to the phone call with Miravie, I can dispute the charge when it clears.

Now I call back to see if the Eye Serum trial is cancelled. It is not, so I call 888-373-9518.....this is the merchant number listed with the charge on the bank statement. Thankfully the cancellation was uneventful despite his attempts to sell me more s**t, and I got email conformation for the eye order. However the guy told me that it was only for that one. I already knew that.

Same as all above

What a scam...why are they still operating? I am usually savvy regarding internet buys...but they offered their free trail offer on Facebook daily...and finally I thought it was worth the shipping to receive product. After seeing the charge on my statement, I immediately called and talked to a confrontational service rep....this product should be banned...it has no business being on Facebook..or anywhere. Take the money and run. A totally bad karma business.

Ripoff!

SCAM ALERT - MiraVie Skincare! PLEASE SHARE/SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Friends - DO NOT fall for the inexpensive trial offers from MiraVie Skincare!

This is a total ripoff! I ordered trial of eye serum and skin cream for about $5 each. I did not think to read fine print until right after I ordered and only realized then I would be automatically charged $86.95 a month if I didn't cancel within 14 days of ordering. I called within 14 days and cancelled - only I didn't realize the eye cream and the skin cream are (they claim) TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES!!!! even though they both shipped in one box from the same address!! And if you don't call the number for EACH - they are not BOTH cancelled (even though packing list gave two 800 #s and stated call this one OR this one - not that you had to call both!). I realized this on day 15 when I was charged $86.95 on my debit card for the eye serum.

When I called the number to ask why I was charged since I had cancelled within 14 days, I was told I had to call a separate number to cancel the eye serum! When I called that number I went round and round with a customer service rep who was very rude, refused to refund my money because it was one day past the 14 days, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. This is a total scam to try to get your money! They clearly do not care about customer service or their reputation. This was a very expensive lesson learned! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! They make false claims about their products and place details in very fine print you have to search out - and even then it's not completely clear and is misleading.

What I thought was a 2 week trial that would start when I received the product was not at all what I got. I paid $11.00 for the "free trial offer" shipping and could try it for 2 weeks. After I had the trial offer for one week two charges were on my bank statement. One for $89.95 and the other for $85.95. I called Customer Service (they are a joke) and was told the "Free trial offer" started on the day you placed the order. Now how could I try the creams if I did not have them yet. The CS Rep was nasty and to the point. I could tell she was just reading a script. She told me that I signed a binding contract and she could not refund my money but as a courtesy to me she would refund 30% of the total. Please beware and do not fall into their trap. This is a total scam. If I save one person from this scam I will be happy

MiraVie advertised a 14 day FREE TRIAL on-line for only the cost of shipping of $4.95 for the skin cream and $5.95 for the eye cream. It was curious that when I went to make the purchase, that each product was billed separately and shipped from 2 differnet locations, California and Wyoming. WEIRD, but I continued. The "I agree to the terms box was checked", who reads that?...then I proceeded to checkout.

On the order confirmation page, the details from "I agree to the terms"....was more clearly outlined. I had agreed to a monthly shipping of $89.95 for each product unless I call to cancel after my 14 day trial. If I want to cancel my trial product, I need to send it back with the unused portion, for another fee of $9.95, the shipping fee and "dispose of product" fee. I called the company within 1 minute of the purchase to cancel.

When I called to CANCEL the purchases, unfortunately each separately, each customer service representative, "I understand" but they couldn't NOT cancel the order. it was sent automatically after the confirmation. Customer service kept repeating, you clicked CONFIRM..and again, that they could not CANCEL the trial order. I would need to receive the shipments and pay the additional $9.95, for EAHC to send them back.

I reported the dispute with my credit card company ASAP. This is a SCAM! Buyer beware.

MiraVie Skin Cream and Eye Serum I also had signed up for a free 2-week trial offer of their Skin Cream and Eye Serum as I have just read on another Rip Off Report, I was also supposed to be charged shipping ONLY. ($5.95 and $6.95).

when I had received my bank statement, I had discovered that they charged me an additional $85.95 and $89.95 Santa Ana California.

The person I spoke with only offered me 35% back of my $175.90! They had offered between 50% and 75% to other people complaining??

i asked them to immediately cancel everything! I had told them that I was also letting the BBB and Attorney General know of this Rip Off and I want my money back into my checking account.

i believe paying $175.90 for two small samples and never signing up for anything else is absolutely crazy!!

We shall see if the 35% is actually refunded to me. I will never order a two-week free trial of anything ever again.

This is a complete scam.

I called my bank today and told them that these people will Only give me 35% back on one of them. Also, it is going to cost me 70.00 to stop future pymts 8/21/15 and on. Told this company to cancel the order I NEVER ORDERED!

On May 22, 2015, I made the mistake of purchasing a trial offer of Mira Vie Skin Cream ($4.95) and Mira Vie Eye Serum ($5.95). When I hit the "send" button, I did not realize that I had agreed to recurring monthly charges of each item in excess of $90. I also failed to see any reference to the 14-day trial period in which I could cancel any future orders or charges to my credit card. To this point, I say it's my fault for not searching for the Terms of Agreement that were secreted in very fine print at the end of the ad on Face Book.

On July 6, I noticed an email from PayPal stating that they had paid "CTD Skinvitalize (Mira Vie Skin Cream)" $94.90. I called the listed number immediately--protesting that "unauthorized" debit to my account. They assured me that I had authorized the purchase as soon as I ordered the trial and did not cancel within 14 days. We went back and forth, until I accepted the option of having them return $70.80 ($94.90 minus S & H). I walked away thinking that I had been taught a costly but well learned lesson.

Unfortunately, I had only learned half of the lesson. A more thorough examination to the debit account that I used to make the original purchase revealed two debits:

1) On June 5, CTD Skin Vitalize -Tel 888-510-2076 NV Charged $89.95

2) On June 5, ANZ Eye Intensify - Tel 888-245-3451 SD Charged $85.95

Again, they got me, because I did not see the fine print; moreover, when I contacted Skin Vitalize on July 6, I had no idea that I was dealing with only one company. Skin Vitalize returned most of my money. Eye Intesniffy was poised to charge me again in August. I now realize that I was dealing with two different companies--- one in Nevada and the other in South Dakota!

*Please Note: I received the first mailing of the face cream and eye serum dated 07/06/2015 from yet, another address: PO Box 25380, Santa Ana, California. This is another reason for me to have believed I was dealing with one company!

At this writing, I have managed to officially cancel Eye Intensify as well as Skin Vitalize. Eye Intensify cancelled readily today, August 6, but they refuse to credit my account.

I ordered a free two-week trial of miravie skin cream and eye serum. I was to pay the shipping ($5.95 and $6.95) which i did using my debit card. Big mistake.)

Receiving our statement, we discovered that we were charged $89.95 and $85.95. We called the company and they said that because i had checked a box that i had agreed to pay that amount for two weeks of product.

I never read anything that indicated that. After explaining the situation, the young woman said that i had agreed to pay the full amount.

I told her that i didn't want to continue receiving the product and i didn't feel we should have to pay that enormous amount for a two-week trial.

She talked with someone and came back with the offer of cancelling the ongoing order and that she would give us back 50% of the charge This was only for the face cream).

I told her that i recognized she had to do her job, but that she was not working for an ethical company.

She then came back with an offer of 75% refund. At our hesitation, she finally said they would refund the entire amount, but that it could take up to 7 days to show up in our account.

Then she gave us a second telephone number to call the customer service people for the eye serum.

As i write this, my husband is on hold to try to speak to another person and go through the entire process again. I am so angry that we are having to spend all this time to stand up for our rights.

The second person at the second telephone number wouldn't go any higher than a 50% refund.

We shall see if the money is actually refunded to us. I will never order a two-week free trial of anything ever again.

This is a complete scam.
