This is a third party billing company for our apartment's Water, Sewer,. Garbage. First of all they charge $3 a month to pay bills online. I can't go in and pay because they are in Texas we are in Oregon. Not a huge deal but it adds up especially when your on limited income. I just paid $86 in late fees because last year the 3 months I paid with a gift card they claim to have not received payment making it impossible to catch up hence the late fees! I paid the bill every month yet continued to be charged late fees for those three months. There is no way they would let me go three months and leave my water on!
I did not hear from my manager once the whole time yet got an eviction notice last month for having a previous balance of $68! They charge $100 a month for water sewer garbage in a small apt! They double charge a day every month. For instance a billing cycle from Feb. 22 to March 23. Then the next cycle from March 23 to April 18. So they charge twice for March 23! Some months the billing cycle is 29 days some 30 day some are 33 days so the due date is widely different each month! They need to be stopped! I can't get my low income discount since they are 3rd party either but I guess thats my problem.

No way would they allow my water to be on that long! Suffice to say being extremely low income paying more than what I owe for a month has been trying plus besides the $3 a month they charge $8 a month late fee even though I make monthly payments + a little extra. Now I got an eviction notice to catch up on $146 total owed. $80 is their late fees! The Water Company doesn't charge this much for bills or late fees!

Our problems started when I received our first water bill and felt it was unusally high for a family of four, one being an infant. I requested a daily usage report and that is when I seriously got suspicious. There was one day where the usage was really high, and we weren't even living in the apartment yet. When I called Minol to report the usage when we were not even living in our apartment yet, I was told by a Minol representative to keep requesting daily usage reports and see if there are anymore issues. I reported the usage to our apartment manager, who then contacted the apartment owner, and the owner had the charge removed from our water bill since no one was in the apartment and no water could have possibly been used. Things just kept going downhill.
I kept requesting the daily usage reports. We also started pretty strict water conservation and have kept it up. When we got our bill for Mid-November to Mid-December, I noticed there was usage once again when no one was home. 440 gallons had been reported as used over a period of four days and as I said, no one was home. I reported this to Minol who told me to report it to the apartment manager. I did so and it was at this time the apartment owner decided he would come see us in person to discuss our water bill. We spoke and I showed him the bill and where usage was reported when no one was home. He took care of the matter and we got a statement credit. We had one month from Mid-January to Mid-February of little issues. Then the issues started again.
From Mid-February to Mid-March there were "estimates". When I asked about the estimates I was informed that it was because the meter did not send a reading for those specific days, so our usage was estimated based on past bills. I reported this to the apartment manager and the manager had it set up so that representatives from Minol could come out to calibrate the meter. Well they calibrated it, gave some advice, which I have followed strictly, and we had a short break in issues with Minol.
I have been requesting daily usage reports and have been receiving them in order to review usage. I even went as far as to write down days we showered, did laundry, ran the dishwasher, and we continued our conservation efforts in order to lower our water bill. I emailed the property owner some suspicious days from the water usage reports and we once again received credits on our bill. Well I just again requested a daily usage report and Minol does not have one for us because the meter did not electronically send a usage report. So our current water bill was "estimated" once again based on past usage. I called the property manager and they are aware that we are having another issue.
I wish I could do a Google review on Minol because I think others should be aware that there are constant issues with this company.
So Minol USA advertises how you can pay your bill online through DOXO for a service charge. All that's ok, but i paid it through the website for multple months only to find out DOXO wasn't giving it Minol or Minol is just saying that. But I had to repay over 362.00 bucks to minol for what I already paid.
Minol says it's not affiliated with DOXO and DOXO wont get back with me. Yet, they are still advertsied on their website and you can still pay through them. So who is telling the truth and who has my money? I am single mother and I can not afford to just give someone over 350.00 bucks.
I sent the confirmation of payment emails to both parties but neither one are responsible for the money I paid and no one can account for!
I absolutely HATE this company. They charge premium prices (which I am forced to pay, I cannot simply throw away my own trash) and then refuse to take my recycle and occasionally even trash. They hide behind your recycle not being in a plastic bag - effing stupid, recycling is about using LESS not MORE, so why do I want to use a plastic bag to recycle when I can neatly put all of my recycle in a box that also needs to be recycled? Every once in a while they will just not pick up my trash that IS in a plastic bag. I am guessing the bag is not the right color or something.
These crooks gouge you for a simple service and then look for any way not to actually provide it.
