My wife and I were referred to Mike Allen in Oct 2019. We were looking to purchase commercial property to build a center for our non-profit Maricopa Veteran Care Center. We later decided to build 27 townhomes and designate one for homeless Veterans. Later, May 2020, I paid 240k to Legacy Charter for a parcel of land in the City of Maricopa,AZ. 10k was paid for closing costs, 230k for the parcel . It was later determined that another parcel was needed to complete the project. So Mike agreed to owner finance the other parcel for 230k. The stipulation was that I pay a monthly note of 2300 per month for 2 months untill Mike could secure a construction loan. The loan would pay off the property and the build.
The SCAM
The stipulation was never put in writing concerning the two months. Mike never secured a construction loan. He could have easily rescinded the agreement and refunded our 230k. He chose not to and extorted me and my wife for over 3 years (pay the note or I will take back the property,) Mike had to the agreement written where although we paid outright for one parcel, both parcels would be taken if
note wasn't paid. We paid this crook for 35 months (over 70k in interest, no principle.) I refuse to pay another dime
Mike Allen is a dishonest business person, greedy for money. He took advantage of an (OER/OIF) 100% disabled Veteran and his wife. I want the entire world to know who this is so he won't do this to anyone else. Society has to be protected from ANIMALS like this. Also, Legacy Charter is a shell company. No physical, email address, nor website .
