Upon meeting the owner (Mike) I was Happy with what I though the outcome would be. We walked around my property and he bullshityed me about what he was going to do, then we agreed on a price witch I though was high. I hired mike to clean my windows inside and out, skylights and power wash my house. Mike insisted that he be paid in full in cash before we started, which I thought was weird but his home advisor reviews made me feel safe.
I paid him in full that day and he didn't show up when he said he was coming, and blew me off for almost a month. (Strike 1) When mike finally shows up he comes with 4 guys, who at first glance looked like they were more of a liability, one smelled of alcohol and the others swore and talked about drug stories etc... I couldn't leave them alone in my house, for 2 days I dealt with there swearing around my kids and the smell of booze. (Strike2) On the final day I did a walk around of all the work they did, honestly they didn't do much, the house was still dirty.
So I called Mike and explained to him my issues with the guys breaking my gutters, not cleaning all the windows, and the mess they made on my hardwood floors, and he told me that I should learn to do it my self Bc of my skin color. I was floored. (Strike3) This guy is a con artist, and a fraud. At first glance he seems nice, then once he gets paid your chasing him to work on your project. I have since report mike to the labor dept, and to CT DRS. Call merry maids or a real company. Please don't use this racist con artist.
