My family and I moved in to Maebrook at Renaissance on 10/2018 and since that time we have suffered an infestation of roaches. I have had my unit professionally cleaned and continue to have a cleaning service come periodically to maintain it's cleaniness; I have purchased numerous roach repellant items to keep the roaches at bay, but to no avail.
There is an vacant unit below me and all of the roaches seem to be coming from that place of origin. I have consistently contacted management to have this be addressed, but their response is an exterminator comes once a month and only on Thursdays. Needless to say, I have received notices on my door the exterminator did arrive at my unit, but did not gain access to my unit to fumigate; keep in mind, if I had received adequate notification an exterminator would be coming to my unit, then I would have allowed him access, but since management nor maintenance communicated with me hence extermination has not been done at my unit.
Now I have communicated with management this is an entire building issue not just simply a unit problem; but they've not heeded my advice. Additionally, I have mentioned to management the vacant unit below me needs to have extensive fumigation and on a periodic basis, but again they've not listened.
In the meantime, this problem is a serious health issue and I mean to contact the state board of health on the lack of response and/or resolution management has demonstrated in resolving this problem. I have a 3 year old daughter and her health is the upmost of my concern.
I will not be renewing my lease and I advise NO ONE to ever sign a lease with Middlesex Management and/or Atlantic Realty Management. They lack customer service and your family suffers from their neglect.
