On 1-15-19 Mid cities Motorsports mechanic chaught my brake line on lift ripping off cable and brake the 2010 Fury fell onto tire machine damaging after market fender. I was advised of this issue and one manager gave me a written offer of $4500.00 to buy bike. I wanted to wait to see what main manager would say and told asst manager I had a plan to move to Az. The main manager said his paint guy and shop would repair. I said ok they also said they would keep me advised of the process.
They never called me and when i called them The most consistent replies were: ! we are waiting for brake 2. Paint guy has not come by shop 3 we cant find right length brake cable 4 Paint guy cant match paint. I did tell them I would accept offer of 4500.00 they said because it was modified they were not sure. I sent a letter to advise I wanted my bike in 10 days and would file a case with small claims. They made contact on letter.
On the 11th day I called them to try to mitigate my issues as my scheduled u hauls to move I canceled 2 times. They would not talk to me although one of the shops guys did tell me they were still waiting for paint guy to finish tank.. Another Honda dealer shop suggested Bureau of automotive repair and BBB I did not file with small claims so each of the above could first investigate and add brevity to the case. Both agencies are looking into issue and BBB did state that shop was not a member but also had no complaints.
Well mine is the first as the mechanics and Honda dealers and fury fourms agree it is an excessive amount of time. I would just like to alert other buyers or owners of my experience to educate choice of work done there. I bought my bike there in 2010 had all the modifications and minor service there with no issue before this.
