I use mtu "hoster" for my karaoke system. It allows installation on one computer per license. No problem there. I would even buy the upgrades, whenever they came out. I wanted to replace the laptop i had the program installed on. Still no problem.
The first laptop had a buzz when connected to a powered speaker, so i sent it back. I had to uninstall the program before sending it back, as the program sends data to mtu to identify the computer it's installed on. No problem.
The second computer developed bootup problems. I thought i had the problem fixed, so i continued to use it. During auto update one night, the problem happened again. As much as i tried, i could not get the computer to boot up, so i could uninstall the program and save my registration for the program to be installed on a third laptop. I have since returned the second computer, but my registration is locked in a computer that won't boot up.
I have used the mtu.com tech support request form Tickets 56678 & 59997), to get them to reset my registration. I have called them and left a message, texted their number, even bought a subscription to increase the number of update downloads. Still, no reponse. I have asked my cc to reverse the recent charges for that.
All i want is to be able install my program on a working computer. A look at the mtu facebook page shows numerous complaints about no action on the requests either.
