My google search could not bring anything up or connect to anything. I ran the scans that were on the screen. Scans did not fix the problem and a window popped up that said I had been hacked and claimed to be Microsoft with a toll free number to call. I called it the technician and he took over my screen he did some stuff and got it to a point I could not stop him other than taking out the battery. At this point he tells you about all the foreign things he has found on your computer then gives you a list of options that all are more money than just getting another cheap computer and tells you that if you don't buy his services that the
hackers will take over your credit cards and bank accounts and that only he can make your computer safe.Vulture, Kind of like an alarm co. that shows up on crime scenes and tells you they will make you safe. Pushie as can be.
I had the same thing happen to me yesterday June 30th. I freaked out, called the number and landed in Bum-F India. They took over, showed me I had hackers, phishing scams, etc. All sorts of scary things especially because my Hotmail account kept freezing my computer.
Told me they could fix it, and took over.
At the END they told me It was $199.99 for what they did!
I told them I couldn't pay it until my new credit card showed up. Now I'm supposed to pay it on July 6th. My Hotmail froze my computer today - one day after all this "work" they supposedly did!
How can I cancel payment? Will they seize my bank account ? My credit cards? Although I gave them no access or account numbers, I'm still freaked out.

Had them install antivirus in 2 computers,did not work in 1 computer, so I ask for refund within 4 days , havent received any thing but excuses.
