Ms. Michelle Haley at Michelle Haley Photography is misleading her customers by tying her customers to her printing services without informing them upfront. Ms. Haley provides LOW PIXEL images to her clients on purpose so that her clients are not able to print any large WALL PRINTS from ANY OTHER printing companies EXCEPT her; otherwise demands from her customers $6500 and $12000 for the HIGH-PIXEL images. Moreover, before the session Ms. Haley NEVER informs her clients that the images provided will be LOW PIXEL and if the clients decide to have HIGH PIXEL images, they have to pay additional $6500 and $12000.
After consulting with the attorney, we filed a lawsuit against Michelle Haley Photography for MISLEADING and required our money back. We also posted reviews about our experience with Michelle Haley Photography in various social sites as well as Better Business Bureau (BBB).
On OCTOBER 1st I received e-mail from Michelle Haley Photography that stated Ms. Haley wanted to refund our money back without going to the court. Ms. Haley wrote she was going to give us time to think till Wednesday, October 5th, to reply back to her. At 7:44 AM on OCTOBER 3rd, I received another e-mail from Ms. Haley with the transaction numbers for the refunded money. Since she sent the e-mail with the refund confirmation, I did not see any point of contacting Ms. Haley further and closed the case with the BBB. However, it turned out that Ms. Haley DID NOT process any refund and by sending me the REFUND CONFIRMATION e-mail created an untrue impression on the BBB and me that the refund was processed. In fact, she canceled the refund transaction after the BBB closed the case.
Ms. Haley displayed UNTRUE NOTICE by deliberately MISLEADING and DECEIVING the Better Business Bureau and me about refunding the money. Ms. Haley is doing an unfair business by misleading and purposefully ripping off her customers.
