Michael Woods Reviews

  • Jan 23, 2018

A man named Michael G. Woods who claimed to be a lawyer out of the United Kingdom, claimed that he was the lawyer of a friend of mine's father. My friend was convinced by this "lawyer" that he was in possession of her father's will and that her father left her monetary assets in the amount of 32.5 million dollars. My friend told me that the "lawyer" wanted a fee of $3500.00 to produce the documents and asked me if I could help with the fee. I told her I might be able to help so she had the "lawyer" send me an email stating the following: I'm very happy for the support you are render for Kelley i want you to take good care of her and protect her as soon as the Asset get into your care, i want you to invest the money for her. I want you to understand that you shouldn't indicate what is inside the Asset to Trinity Security Firm. The money was concealed in a two metallic trunk boxes. Late Mr Thomas O' Collins kept this deposit under a secret arrangement as a family treasure and for future safe keeping with Trinity Security Firm.

Its only Thomas family, and I the lawyer knows what is inside the boxes. In case they ask you, tell them it's family treasure. You might not understand what the Trinity Security Firm were asking, we are going to arrange some document to back up the document with the Thomas O' Collins family to claim the Asset from Trinity Security Firm. This are the documents we are going to prepare to back up the Asset: Power Of Attorney Proof of relationship/ later from church. And i will include all the necessary document that related to this Assets. The above requested documents will cost $3,500.00USD The certificate of deposit will be given to you by Kelley and your identity, like copy of your driver's license. Is secured and Safe I will get all the remaining document as soon as you send the money to prepare the documents. Get back to me as to know the necessary things to handle. Have a nice day. Michael Wood Chamber (Legal Practitioners/Notary Public) London United Kingdom In a later email, Woods asked me to provide my full address, phone number, social security number and a copy of my driver's license saying that he needed them in order to complete preparation of the documents. He also told me that the Trinity Firm was represented in the UK and South Africa and that the assets could be located in either country. When I attempted to verify Mr. Woods contact information I found that his office address was not an office at all but a residential complex and I learned that he was impersonating an actual lawyer named Michael Wood in the UK. He claimed to work for the law firm at 20 Essex St. in the UK. I called the law firm at 20 Essex St. and they had no Knowledge of my communications with Michael Woods by email and they confirmed that there was no legal firm at the address Woods provided. I requested verification of Woods credentials and he sent me via email a copy of his Certificate of Call to Bar. I subsequently discovered that this certificate was a fake and immediately terminated my dealings with Michael Woods. This man is running a scam. If you see email traffic similar to what I experienced, beware of potential fraud.
