Susann previewed my home in Snohomish Wa which was offered for 1,500,00.00. She asked how quickly we could close because her lease was expiring and the seller wanted to move back into the home. She wanted to close in 2 weeks. She gave me a bank statement which showed that she had sufficient funds to close so my husband and I frantically packed and cleaned so we could vacate in 2 weeks.
The day before closing she asked to meet. She said that her loan commitment was expiring the next day but she could not access the funds in her brokerage account for 5 days. She asked if we would carry back the down for 5 days. Since we buy and sell property, I have been in that situation many times myself so I was willing to carry back for 5 days. That was the biggest mistake of my life! It has been a year and a half of one lie after another and empty promises. The woman is a very accomplished scam artist. She never made a payment on the first and is in foreclosure. I seriously doubt I will ever see a dime of the $400,000.00 she owes me
. Do not be fooled by the sweetie pie personna she puts out there - the woman is a snake. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office. The woman belong in jail for what she did to us and others.
They wrote us an offer on our home through a reputable real estate agent. They needed us out of the house quickly but it was a very good offer so we accepted. We signed a 12 month lease on a rental house so we could be out quickly. We were a day or two into moving when we were tipped off by a friend who got the same treatment from the Waddington's a few months earlier so we terminated the offer contract after the earnest money didn't come through.
They cost us a 12 month lease on a rental house but we found reports from others on this website who suffered much more than we have. Still a bad situation though. What was even creepier was that they came by our house not long after the offer was terminated but they went around to the side of the house instead of to the front door.
They opened a child gate at the stairs onto the deck and were walking on to the deck when I confronted them. They left but I assume they were planning to break into the house or something. Do not get involved with them. I can't believe they've been doing this for so long. How are they not in jail?
