You've read about Michael Grissinger on this site, or elsewhere on the internet, before.
If you're an open-minded and forgiving individual who understands the awesome power of the internet, and likewise the awesome ignorance of many trolls, unkind people, etc, you tend to think for yourself when entering into a business arrangement. Depsite having read the previous reports on this site about him, Michael's conviction lead me to disregard the words of the past and consider the APPARENT clients Michael and his two companies had assisted in the past, in website development.
At the onset, when you begin speaking to Michael, he's very thorough, amicable, smooth, convincing, and purports to possess plenty of logos as to why disparaging reports on his professional conduct (like these) are not only unfair, but potentially libel. How sweet.
I'll assure you: the only criminal in this scenario is, and has ever been, Michael Grissinger.
Let me guess. You think I'm just mad at Michael for not giving me the product I wanted? Adorable.
Michael Grissinger didn't give me ANY product.
He stole my money, changed his phone number, got a new job, and booked it.
The very chatty Michael Grissinger of Craize LLC (because you'd have to be CRAIZE-Y to believe a word he says, I assume) seduced me off of a freelancing website for website developers, and was oh-so-talkative... until it suited him.
Just as other reports have demonstrated, Michael's disappearing act could make Houdini blush. But he's just smooth enough to drop a line when the water shows signs of a boil. For instance, if he hasn't replied in a week in a half to a friendly "just cheking in, I'd like to see what you're working on email", give it another week and two more emails. You'll get a novel about how hard he's working, and how he has someting to show you "by Monday", or "in a week". "Things have been crazy..." he'll say. Oh, okay. You accept it, you don't want to be pushy.
Then the phone number he gives you, and his ENTIRE COMPANY, disconnects, is no longer, and you get a busy tone. He still has your money, by the way. Convenient.
Yes, all this really happened to me. It took about a month of emails and calls, whatever I could do, even calling his (family's?) phone via white pages, to realize how far gone the situation was.
Michael then proceeded to email me back finally, with a new cell phone number (which by the way, he never responded to, until I threatened to sue him).
With signed contracts and my money, Michael sat and did NOTHING for FOUR MONTHS. How do I know he wasn't really working?
HE TOLD ME he didn't have ANYTHING AT ALL, in our final emails. This demonstrates how much of a liar he is, and how long he was stringing me along just to hold onto my money.
Michael regularly peruses these sites in hopes of dispelling rumors in comments below these entries. Please go ahead and try, Michael.
American Express and myself are currently disputing him and if it doesn't work I'm suing him soon.
How he has a new job and a fiance at all, I'd love to know. Perhaps it has behooved him to be a pathological liar to some extent, but I imagine the benefits won't be a bountiful harvest to reap in middle age.
I give this Michael Grissinger no less than 7 years to end up in jail.
