Metrolina Auto Group Reviews

I need to share my beyond poor experience with Metrolina.. Purchased a 2014 Audi R8 V10 plus from this group. When it arrived i was beyond misled with the condition of the vehicle. For starters several interior parts were broke, exterior side skirt damaged, entire front end and windshield completely pitted, tires bald in rear, etc. List was a long one. Then i went to get it structurally checked out by Ferrari of Newport Beach and after the Audi tech finished looking at it, was told that the entire front sub brace was repaired and improperly welded. Needed a whole new front end. I have receipts from them totally more than $43k to get repaired not including the interior parts. So when i say this group and Ryan moreno cannot be trusted, I mean it. Had several conversations with Ryan, and short of him yelling and saying c'mon man what did you expect.. Well for $130k cash i expect a nice car as advertised, not what i received!! Just a lack of respect all around from Ryan and will never even ponder on buying a car from this guy or his dealership!! Stay Away..Anyone is welcome to PM me for more info.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND ANYTHING RYAN MORENO IS ONVOLVED IN.. YOU WILL BE SCREWED IN THE LONG RUN. Plenty of legitimate high end dealers around the country. Try Evan Paul Motorcars in Newport Beach, CA. Always treat their customers with respect, and they do not sell wrecked and hidden repaired cars like Metrolina does..

Worst car buying experience ever ! I went to Metrolina Auto Group for the car of my dreams, Like a bmw or something... & i must say this was the worst car buying experience ever! The Owner Ryan who was nice, & very personal. Promising he could get me in a nice foreign car although i was a first time buyer & had little work history. He took the time to answer all my questions & explained the car buying process. I had to put down a non refundable 500 deposit just to do a credit check/application without even knowing what car i wanted or if i wanted to do business with Metrolina. But i agreed, I was 21, a mother with a great new job & in desperate need for a car. I thought this was the opportunity of a lifetime. I originally had my eyes set on a 2004 bmw about $ 8k looking to put 3k down upfront. Something easy to pay off, & reliable. My only stipulation was i refused to get used foreign car with out a warranty. After doing my credit checks/ application Ryan told me i was approved for up to $17k & he had the perfect car. He showed me a 2006 Mercedes with only 55k, one owner still under warranty for about 15,000$.. ! It was out my range & i was hesitant but he said he knew the previous owner. I was working a job with 12 hours shifts , 6 days a week. So if i was going to get a car i had to act fast I took off just to look since they was not open Sundays. So i decided to take it for a quick test drive. While test driving the car i herd a loud popping sound whenever i turned. I immediately took the car back, told him i didnt want it & would have to come back another week to look. Ryan assured me it was probably only a ball joint & it was 80$ work. He would have it fixed before i signed the papers. I remember asking for the carfax at that point, which i never got. I figured it was in an accident to be having that kind of promblem with so little miles. Ryan assured it was a great car. I remember asking purchasing an additional warranty at that point, Because my biggest concern purchasing a car i cant afford to fix. Ryan told me buying an additional warranty would be " a waste of money." because the car only had 55k miles. He also went on to assure me that if anything major went wrong with the car, specifically, transmission or engine wise with in the first few months he would have me covered. He told me go sign the papers & i can bring back in to get it fixed. In order to sign for the car i had to go to another delership, planet suzuki Charlotte. While signing the papers i found out the car had no warranty & had been in an accident after demanding a car fax before i signed anything . I called, once again asking about a warranty Ryan assured it was a great car & it would be fixed not to worry because again it only had 55k miles. It took me a few weeks to get the car back around to metrolina with my work schedule. Like planned, i brought the car in & they "fixed " it with in a few hours. The promblem was not fixed & it began poppin again immediately, i called &, They told me come back another day. By the 3rd time returning, the mechanic said it wasnt the ball joint but the strut on passenger side. A 575$ job & they would fix it but i had to replace the drivers side to stop it from reoccurring "To be fair" i needed to cover the cost, $574 to be exact. I made it very clear i didnt have the money for maintance on a car i just spent 3500$ on & would need to wait to get the other side fixed or get another car . He promised he would cover the cost & get it fixed. I went to metrolina at least 4 times to get this part fixed over 2 months . During this time the transmission started acting funny. Meaning the car wouldn't change gears or read that i changed the gears. & i noticed the tread was coming through all 4 tires. I was expecting Ryan & Metrolina Auto Group to fix it. Since a warranty was such a waste of money. The last time i went to Metrolina was to get the strut fixed & clarify the transmission situation. They brought in a new mechanic who swore it would be fixed. Since the last one couldnt. They placed the strut & then proceeded to charge me for it. Some how they didnt get the memo Metrolina was suppose to cover this since this was wrong with the car from the day i got it. After all the conversations about them paying for it i was pissed. I walked from the garage to the main office to wait for Ryan. This guy acted like i never spoke with him at all, he completely backed out on paying for the labor , they told me if i dont pay for it they will take the part back off the car. He told me i hadnt put any money into the car & felt he would be loosing money on the value of the car if he helped me. He told me i was because i waited too long to get the part fixed & for all he knows i did the damage. We went back & forth about this issue until they threatened to call the police. He then told me keep the part but to never to come back. I left , a week later the same part went out & so did the transmission speed sensor. It cost $1700 for the transmission sensor, i had to get new tires & replace the strut issue. Not a dollar from Metrolina or any help.
