After signing up, they pretended to deliver a fax but never did. I then emailed them to cancel and they never replied. They have been charging my card for MONTHS now and I have to file a fraud report with my bank to get them to stop.
Barely used.. one of those things that you sign up to get a fax out.. and know not needing later.. after about 6 months.. finally called in to cancel.. 2 weeks later.. they hit my card again.. wouldnt refund.. is NOT AN AMERICAN COMPANY.. INDIA.. INDIANS..
Here is a redacted copy of the letter I sent to MetroFax's registered agent Chul Min Chun, in California. If you have this service from MetroFax, good luck trying to cancel your account. You can only call or chat with them online to cancel the service and there are never agents availble to do so.

To Whom it May Concern,
For the last several months I have attempted to cancel my MetroFax account. As per the MetroFax terms of service I have tried calling and chatting with your agents online to cancel my account to no effect. MetroFax has attempted to bill both my REDACTED and REDACTED credit cards numerous times, each time you do this it is unauthorized. I have locked my REDACTED card and initiated chargeback with REDACTED due to MetroFaxes unauthorized charges of my credit card’s. I do not require your service and I have attempted to cancel my MetroFax account numerous times following MetroFaxes terms of service.
Do not attempt to charge my locked credit card from REDACTED ending in REDACTED, do not attempt to charge my REDACTED card ending in REDACTED. Cease billing me for a service that I do not require. I have engaged in a good faith effort to cancel this account to no avail. I have followed the MetroFax terms of service to cancel this account to no avail. Cancel my account and zero my balance owed. I had made it absolutely clear on or about several months ago that I no longer require MetroFax’s service.
After receiving emails stating I needed a new card to keep my acct open and deleting the app on my phone I was under the impression my acct was closed, only to find after 3months of not using the service & the fax number not even in service.
I was charged $20 & only received a $7 refund after having to jump through hoops to get a manager to even try to do it. The first person I spoke to was rude and about 2 out of 10 faxes do not go through! I highly recommend avoiding this app! There are many more who have filed complaints about this company charging for non-working services as well.
